Chin up my brother we live and learn!! loving the hobby!
Beauties, Your kickin ass brotha!
Beautiful @Budmeister! What strain of gelato? I’ll be getting #33 again here soon can’t wait!
Looks like you’re not gonna have to worry about herb for a while! Any thoughts as to what you’re running next?
Thank you broskie!! appreicate you dropping by and checking in brother
I have just planted 5 x Barneys Farm, Gorilla Zkittles and 1 x Shaman from dutch passion!
Temps are low here 1-2c outside its freezing but its also soo dry humidity is 30% so it might be a bit of a rocky start but we will get them through…
here they are only 3-4 days old…
Then - of course i still have the gelato 45 and gelonade running in the 2x4 which i will probably move up to the budmesiter hotel top floor!! for the remaning 3 weeks of flower…
its gelato 45. barneys farm! its looking real nice but im battling very low humidity at the moment i need to come up with a quick fix… its 30-35%
Wish me Luck!! unfortunately i cant seem to get the humidity past 30% at the moment.
ive got the fan low not aiming on any of the harvest the extractor has to be on or it stinks too much… but im looking forward to this I only took a handful of big fan leaves off each plant when i hung them because of the low humidity…
I will keep a check every day and try my best to slow it but im sure it should be fine! Lower RH is better than high RH i think…?
Looking amazing over there brother congrats on the harvest! I’m in the same boat but hopefully it all clears up by Wednesday they are expecting temps to get up to 46
I think so too. At least you know mold won’t set in. Jarring and burping while still a bit moist might be an option to slow drying and kickstarting a good cure.
Looks like a stellar harvest! Congrats!!!
I think thats what i might do to be honest if i got up and see the big fan leaves drying out by day 4 of dry i will most likely chop again… and Tub / Jar… then burp to try eliminate the quick drying process the humidity is simply not budging from 30% RH its crazy ive never saw it like this here…
no rain in a while just freezing temps and low RH… time to invest me a good humidifier I think.
Do you ever do a final weight? I’ve never done one…but it’s always fun to see.
Yeah I always do a final weight for the record good to look back on and compare…
its -4c tonight its just ridiculous… Kind of annoyed it happened now right when i chopped them its just so cold… Im going to have to switch out the 2x4 gelato with the harvest space tomorrow.
I will bring all the drying bud down and put it in the 2x4 and the gelato will move on up to the top. Always a nice move for plants! im sure they will love the top floor space better than the 2x4 with the Sp3000.
Not only will they have the 640w 8 BAR LED but they will get a new dose of C02 in the can and plenty of bumped up temps on the heater so i think its the best thing to do.
In the harvest room temps are 15c and humidity is 32% is that dangerous for drying bud?
Decided to peel back some of them half dry fan leaves that surrounded these resinous nuggets as i couldn’t wait to jar some for a slow cure…
Really pleased… can’t say much else. The smell is amazing, Its not dried as fast as i thought it would by leaving them big fan leaves on, because when i peeled them back I had lovely sticky buds that seem to be still in a good hanging dry process… Bring on the trim in 4-5 days! This has me mega pumped to get it all sorted!
Amazing looking bud in the last picture.
thank you plenty nugs to come this was a broken odd branch!
So then, that marks the end of the first run and now I will continue with a NEW TOPIC
5 x GELATO 45 ( Barneys Farm )
1 x GELONADE ( Barneys Farm )
Currently on DAY 38 since I flipped to flower…
So an update on these girls - they are doing really well in the 2x4, starting to put on weight and have just finished a week of PK 13/14
I am moving them up to the top where they will finish off flower 4-5 weeks left ( I believe this will help maximise their potential as they certainly look like they could do with a little bit of spreading out and room to breathe… see pics below…
However that being said - i’m very happy with them and would have been more than happy to finish them where they are but why not use the extra space and light since its now available… Then I can move my Gorilla Zkittles into the 2x4 tomorrow as they have also filled out the little seedling dome.
Lots to look forward to! cheers BM
And… here they are in their new space!!
26 inches from the light at 100% power…
I think this should do for now maybe move it closer in 1-2 weeks time??
not too sure but looking good ( not as full as I would like it but its better than 1 x SP3000 )
Loving one of these Gelato 45s more than the others can really see some purple coming through… how would one go about revegging maybe il look into doing it… the gelonade is kind of strangely cool too!
took a few lights off shots on their first night in the new space! Unfortunately i have no choice but to leave the lights off now for 18 hours I will then be at the schedule of 12/12 that I would like whilst up in the new space is that ok to do that?
