this recipe calls for no flushing, but i like to flush so to each their own. i hope this helps someone out there and if you have never used rabbit poop, u should try it. without a doubt, my favorite poop…
I can confirm 100% rabbit shit is a Primo fertilizer especially if the rabbits are fed really good alfalfa.I grew Guerilla style outside when i was a kid and some of the first really nice runs and all i used was Earthworm castings from the nightcrawler beds i was raising for selling bait and piles of Rabbit shit from the rabbits i raised for meat and fur and pets those guys got alfalfa nuggets from Clydes feed good ones. Was a pretty good system actually Really good plant food gently broken down chelated by the rabbits gut i always had one or the other with those rabbits. If i was a small regenerative farmer i would give some bunnies a go.
I water my outdoor beds with liquid after I stir up the manure and urine in a bucket. It’s great.
Have you, or anyone, used this indoor? I think what I’ve been using would be a bit yucky inside. I could try aerating it with some other amendments and see how that goes.
That is good find!
I may have to live trap some rabbits, out in the garden, then keep them in prison for a week or so, capture up their waste and release them.
H’mm got to think on that one.
Just be careful of the parasites in the wild ones thier loaded with worms its the number one reason dogs get them, they will eat that rabbit shit like raisenettes and off to tracker supply to get dewormer you will be.If you have pets keep an eye on them and keep them away from the wild rabbits.I was using Champagne d’Argents at the time i had quarantined to a outside pen.My pitbull kept the other rabbits away so my rabbits were pretty safe.He was a nasty bastard and i caught him eating wild rabbit shit a couple times and it sent me to tracker supply 36$ later
Dont put any males together either you will wake up to a bloody mess the next morning. They will literally tear eachothers ears right off thier heads in bloody shreds its like something out of a Tom Savini movie
SUPER valid points CapnCannabis!!
And ones I did not think about at all.
Maybe, I’ll go visit a friend, and work out a barter, they have had rabbits for years now, I’d trade some of my stinky shit for some of their stinky shit, LOL!
I have a deal with a few people to bring them rabbit feed and they let me have all the poop I want. Too, I feed premium feed so I know the manure is good…
