Bunny's Mad Misshapes. (CBD with a sprinkling of other adventures)

I’ve made edibles and have been vaping as well.

Mine was THC dominant but that shouldn’t matter. The edibles actually came out stronger than usual, but that was just the genetics.

Cheers

I had some CBD heavy pot that I decarbed and my wife blends it with THC leaning for additional health benefits.

I had a Cherry Blossom CBD plant in the other room and it seems the early pollen made its way over to this girl. Oh well. I did want to hit a couple of branches with it and some with the CBD pollen from a male CBD plant that I have outside.

Not a good picture, tried with lights on and off, decided on lights off. My CBD plants for seed. The one hiding in the back will not make the cut, we will see what the next run gives me.

Sprouted some OG, Bodhi’s Cheech Wizard F2, (Green Curry x Snow Lotus) by @nube. Usually I start them in a plastic cup but going into soil with a sprinkling of starter mix up top.

Very cool! I hope they bring you many happy returns.

Regarding the title of this thread, did you also grow any of the Good Medicine F2 that I sent out in a past co-op box?

Not yet, from what I read it is a 1:1 strain and I was concentrating on low THC plants as I have enough 1:1 at the moment. Once I get the current bunch in flower finished I will decide where I go next. I must add, I have a Cherry Blossom that did not grow well, a Grapefruit Ringo from (I think) @sqwee looks promising. I also have three of my cross that I may be running another generation of one to see what pops out. Once I sample the current ones I’ll decide where I go next.

I have a spot in the room I normally spend a lot of time in which I use for my cloning and starting seeds. It is empty as I just moved a few little ones to my veg area. Started feeling lonely so I grabbed a few seeds from this plant. No training, just how it developed.

It is the outlier of the CBD pollen chucking experiment. I pollinated one branch with the CBD male, one with the PCK. Also hit a plant from @Sqwee, Grapefruit Web x Ringo’s Gift, with my CBD pollen. Grabbed four of each and have them soaking at the moment. The plant from Squee looks really nice, can not wait until it is ready to try. Waiting for the mommies to get cloudy, maybe another two or three weeks.

I had an infestation of aphids and did not want any trouble with the PCK run so I cut them down. Tossed the soil from the pots in a pile, noticed some grew. Have not been able to get to the back yard to deal with the weeds (the other kind) and got out today. Shame I have to cut them down, I only have a grow certificate to grow indoors, also it is not like they will get finished in my climate. I just left them to themselves to see how big they would get. Maybe I will cut them down tomorrow.

That is a shame they won’t finish they look great. I wouldn’t worry about the indoor licence only, if you are in Canada you can grow your 4 rec plants per household, outside on top of your medical limit.

Not in naughty Manitoba where a Conservative government knows best and is keeping it’s citizens safe and pure.

Ah yes, our government and their infinite wisdom. Wonder how that legal challenge is going…

I have some dry sift that I needed to get to. Want to try infusing it into oil. Need to decarb it, read that you can at 212 F. A double boiler would be great. Run to the Dollar Store and rig up a makeshift one using some stainless steel measuring cups. Add a little oil, some heat, stir once in a while. Hope it works.

How did it turn out?

Not too good. Some of the water bubbled into the mix and I put it directly on the heat to steam it off. Seems the bubbles was the oil. I put some of the oil I filtered out with a coffee filter into some coconut oil with cbd isolate in it. Tried it and it tasted burnt. So might be making cookies or brownies with it. Wonder if some vanilla will mask the taste? Live and learn. I may have to try it again but be more careful.

Just for giggles.

I made a palm sized pipe a while back, baked it in the oven to make it look darker. It is a little hot to use so I use a piece of silicon tubing with it to cool the smoke down. Decided to make a new one Friday night (nothing better to do) and sadly I baked it a little more than I wanted. It looks pretty good with a wet finish on it but the can I have has the solids solidified on the bottom and while the surface has been coated it is coming up a mat finish. When I get another can I’ll pretty it up some. The cherry board they were cut from is 3/4" thick to give a sense of scale.

For the longer pipe did you use files and scrapers on the stem? Nice skills regardless.

File for the most part. I drilled the long hole first and then guessed about where it ended up then drilled the bowl hole. The long hole was a little offset but it functions just fine. I then removed material with a file. I ended up with somewhat of a barrel shape I then held it against a belt sander, rotating it to remove most of the barrel section. It is not quite perfect but good enough. It is interesting that it is appreciably lighter than the little pipe.

It looks well balanced. Nice job.
