My main purpose is to hopefully develop a good cross and If I need to weed out plants it will not kill me. But seeing it is only in the one spot I think I will just watch it for another day or two. If no others appear I may snip and see what develops with the plant.
Just found more on it, shame. It had a nice structure.
Yes. That makes sense. I just remember when I was trying to keep that Critical Kush from pollinating when she went a little hermy. I only found four nanners. After the third I chopped her down. Two weeks of checking three times a day on that bush was enough. lol
The rest of the girls have very few seeds. The weight was good and the smoke had kick so not much harm but it was a PITA.
I like watching this kind of stuff. I find it fascinating.
That is part of the reason for taking on this experiment. It is one thing seeing what others do but another thing to live it yourself. In the end I hope something good comes out of it all but if not it is not the first time I wasted time in my life chasing unicorns.
We were lucky in having a pretty good college radio station back then, heard a lot of stuff we would not have had the opportunity to otherwise. Lost it for a number of years but we got two back around 2000. I almost never listen live but download shows they produce. Almost got talked into doing my own. Might in the future, too busy now.
My son is a master musician (in my totally unbiased opinion), and when he was starting out as a teenager I noticed that he was only playing the most popular songs. I convinced him to listen to entire albums (yes vinyl albums). That was a game changer for him. He actually thanked his old man for that more than once.
People miss so much awesome music because they don’t explore!
I’m a very eclectic listener. I listen to a lot of genre and look for unknown gems in all of them.
My niece was over because she was having me make a sidewalk sign for her handcraft business for a popup sale. While in my garage I always have music going, had another college station going at the time. More mainstream than the others, still songs you would hear on mainstream but nothing to scare people away. I never thought anything about it but sometime later she said she had her mind blown that day. Pretty happy about that.
Just ask someone if they know the song “Smoke on the Water”, then ask if they have heard “Lazy” or “Pictures From Home”. It’s the same album but few know those two. I want to have a more full sense of the artists range and style. You don’t learn that by listening to the top 40 if you know what I mean. I’m sure you do. If I only listen to what others think are “the best of” then I’m only hearing less than 1% of the wonderful stuff out there.
I remember having that album, about the time I learned about FM radio, 1973 or about. The first song I heard that made an impact on me and my life has been downhill ever since.
About 24 females, three guys. Rather than guess at which male to use or grow the females to find out which one has CBD and low THC before pollinating it I marked off three branches on each and gave each a shot of the different male’s love juice. Color coded, orange, yellow and blue for the corresponding male. I did not get a chance to do little shorty, in one of the pictures above, not ready to get splashed yet.
The oddball Dinamed x Cherry got a dusting today. It probably get another one yet. It has as much smell to it than the rest combined. Out of the fifty it is the lone one of its type.
I am surprised how the little one that was hanging on ended up the same size as the other. I am just letting them do as they will, I probably should trim some of the lower leaves and bend over a branch or two. I did not want to jinx them in any way so I just watered them and left them alone. Speaking of, I am using the same concentration of feed in my water and they are growing in regular soil. They do suck up the water (along with my others) and I am watering them almost every day. A one gallon pot in soil is doable but you have to keep up with the watering.
