Bunny's Mad Misshapes. (CBD with a sprinkling of other adventures)

Starting some CBD varieties from the good people of Overgrow.

Are these all CBD varieties that were created by OG members? Do you know if they are expected to be mixed ratio CBD:THC or just high CBD? Always feels good sprouting new seedlings.

They are suppose to be high CBD, low THC. From Sqwee, Dynasty Genetics - Grapefruit Web x Ringo’s Gift F4, Monarch Hill Hemp Cherry Blossom. Earth Lover is a high CBD low THC from Sebring as far as I know.

One gallon pots except for the second picture with a bigger pot in the front middle. They all get a watering each day with full nutes, a 2L pop bottle will do five plants.

The new cherry Blossom I had to scrape the edge of the seed after it sat in water and did nothing. Two days later it has a tail. I nursed these clones of the Dina Cherry, have two more in the cloner yet. By the time the ones in flower are finished the bunch will be ready for some weeding out. Let’s hope I end up with a good plant. If not yet, I checked all the plants to see how the seeds are coming and I will have a lot to plant for the next run.

On a personal note, a number of people have stepped up and offered me CBD seeds to try. I will list them and give my appreciation once I have the seeds germinated and can show them off. You guys are the best, you do not know how much I appreciate your help.

And why after getting a bit buzzed last night I woke up with a weed hangover, I took a pain killer for it this morning but it came back again this evening? How is a guy suppose to have some fun? In a little while I am going to see if hair of the dog will do anything for me.

OMG, this is what exactly i was planning to do for my lights…
Thanks for this bunny bro, mind if I pick your brain for help sometime?
@Ttystikk thanks for this brother, if not for you I would still be stressing about the lights.

Oh, my brain has been picked so much I am not sure how much is left. But you are welcome to give it a try.

A quick update on @Budderton 's Carl’s Shoes x Meat Breath. I have been stress testing them. Forgot to water and looking droopy, or a few nights with the lights on, they don’t care. I have not found them all that bad to smell them. Can’t wait until they are done and dried.

Right on @bunny ! They’re looking better than the ones I did! Thanks for putting the work in on these. Glad to hear they’re sexual stable so far, even after a little abuse! I hope they finish strong for you!

Just a sampling of the Dinamed CBD x Cherry Wine F2’s. Out of 23 pictures only 5 in focus. So much for letting the camera decide (or me selecting the wrong mode). Will have to redo them, want to keep a picture of them to see what they looked like after a few generations. They needed water also, not at their best but I just felt like doing it then. The first one has an interesting structure, two mini-colas that develop at the nodes. The second one is almost willow-like with buds sprinkled throughout. The fourth one is very compact,

Nice ones @bunny ! I like the structure of the second one.:+1: I hope they scratch that CBD itch for you!

Not the best of luck with the seeds but these are giving a good fight.

A mature seed popped out of a pod on one of the larger plants. Can not wait until they are done.

Any luck with the CBD concentrates or isolates?

I have not tried it yet, probably going to get a scale first. Still have some CBD flower I have been using and I have been using some of the Cherry Wine which has some THC in it. It is fine in the evening when I don’t want to accomplish too much. Just too many other things percolating to the top of the have-my-attention pile.Speaking of, I should be in trim jail with the CBD plants I have. The Dinamed x Cherry Wine should be getting close to harvesting in a week or two. We will see how those plants shake out. I was going to run them as long as the seeds needed to ripen but I popped out a couple of seeds and they seem read. Just waiting on the tric’s to go cloudy.

Thrips, now on my hit list with aphids. Had some plants just into flower, my Dinafem mothers, the clones of the Dinamed x Cherry Wine. Most likely harvest the Dina Cherry next week. I have the above new CBD plants put aside, I spent some time with a loupe going over leaf by leaf. Will watch them daily.

Looked over my small plants daily ans squish the little buggers. I can see why I read that they are a pain to seedlings, the leaves are almost leathery as compared to the new growth. The older leaves look like a battle zone. I was hoping to keep the bugs down on them until I harvest the mature plants, then I would chemically attack them.

I have a problem with the mature plants. They could use some more time to go cloudy, I do not think I want to wait much longer as the thrips might be mature enough to get into the winged phase. I wanted to do a water dunk with Hydrogen Peroxide and baking soda to try and get them off. Probably should defoliate all the fan leaves before it. An issue is the seeds though. They are almost falling out in some sections. If I swish the plant around in the water I am guessing I will have seeds wanting to fly the coop with the swishing. I pollinated with three different males, I guess I could cut the branches off and tag them before I swish. Would collect the seeds from each branch and keep them separate. More of a pain in the ass than I expected at this point, just wanted to cut the plant’s down and hang them up to dry. I already have 23 plants, multiply that by 3X and one for the unpollinated section I was going to use to test the makeup of the plant that is getting close to 100 different branches to handle.

Fucking thrips.

Looking good bunny, how you been? How’s the IPM battle coming along?

I’m doing not bad. Thrips do not like me. I spent a fair bit of time with a loupe searching for them, they also do not like it when you starve the plants of water and the leaves are a step away from deciding their not needed anymore. Watering brought most of the leaves back but my thrips were reduced. Was not a conscious thing, just sort of happened with the one gallon pots.

Forgot to mention, the Carl’s Shoes x Meat Breath was very pregnant. Seems pollen gets everywhere, lots of seeds on this one. Is it the reason they did not get smelly like the almighty Budderton’s? No idea. Maybe I did get covid and my sense of smell is gone? Nope, checked the armpit and think I need a shower.

Going to take down some, if not all of the Dinamed x Cherry Wine today. There was one plant that I did not think much of but taking a few leaves off it today I found my hand had some of the citric smell I was shooting for. Might be in the running yet. I am going to have to set up the Beam Test to compare the CBD levels in each plant, THC will have to wait until they are dry enough to smoke. There is one plant type that I am hoping is out of the running because of its structure. Too much trimming involved. But we will see. I need to help troubleshoot a guitar amp that I was helping a guy build in Europe. He has a bad noise problem, he has little experience, would be easier to troubleshoot if I had it, hope we find a solution soon, taking too much of my time.Snowblower works now.
