The pollenation worked on all the females, I’ll see if any of the sensi plants got jizzed on after I put the females back in, although I didn’t see any brown pistils on them after a few days ,so time will tell. It would be nice to have another room dedicated to plant sex. I would like to do preservation runs for OG in the future, as a cpl of pollenated branches just won’t cut it for sharing.
About 2/3 seeds were dopped in soil, the rest will be tomorrow at least 2 of each stain popped all of the traverse cherries and all of the Grape piex mac popped.
100% crackage, all in soil very (hot) freshly cured…now wait to see those little cracked heads pop up for air, and light. I used a new addition to my rols, composted bunny poop, I read that it isn’t that hot, it was well composted. Fungus gnats love the mix…derrr.
Almost 100% up above soil on current batch. Yeah…lol. Tried fimming half the other veggers. I usually just top them and clone some tops, but read a current post on here and well figured I’d give it a go,fimmed the lemon wookie/sour strawberry/blood diamonds group there about 3 weeks veg now, 3-5 nodes and all pretty squat. doin well under the t5’s. Still using cfl’s for sprouts, I should change up to screw in led’s if they are better than a few years ago wavelength/intensity wise??? yes? no? I have a 4’ array with 12 standard sockets…I tried small led’s with the globe remove a few years ago but plants did not do well, perhaps kelvin temp, as lumens were as high as a cfl, I switched back to cfl daylighters. I just unscrew bulbs if I don’t need full intensity etc.
Hey man, without pics it’s like listening to the radio instead of watching TV , keep posting them, I enjoy your work …
Yeah I’ll do that in a few minutes…one drawback of no cell phone lol, glad I just stopped using my old 35mm slr LOL
Lemon wookie Sour strawberry Blood diamonds next round 3 weeks in on LW SS and BD FIM pic attempt
next round of sprouts
Maybe a pic of a threesome of pregnant chicks perhaps…? LOL
Just did our first and second attempts at bubble hash with summer outdoor sugarleaf and popcorn. I smoked a ton of hash in the 80’s and 90’s and despite being a newb at the bubble bags…the sticky balls of goo are some strong shit. Our yields and technique will improve but using good trim and quality weed is the key. Now I can see why a lot of guys turn their crop into hash. Gonna have to read and view more info on the finer points of extraction and processing. I never got results like this using dry sift…
So, its taken a month to turn all my little stash jars to hash…who needs an isolation order lol. Will update pics later, bloom roo being emptied this week and bleached and scrubbed for the next batch. Cloned all the Lemon Wookie and Blood Diamonds, they hit bloom first, then the Sour Strawberry F2’s from the OG preservation run, follow, the week after. I mass planted 5 of the SS into a large tupperware bin, for shits and giggles. Everything is unsexed (except one lemon wookie, who preflowered female YAY) regular seeds, so I will thin as they show. Pics later…
a few pics of super crowded veg room, At least a dozen large plants just waiting to get into a sterilized bloom room. Beat down the bugs last cycle or 2 , seeded 4 females and grew their sensi clones simultaneously. Just drying and curing. The Melvanetics Dorothy Fuldheim and the 91 Dragonsx oregon buspass (bridge builders?) both had purple bud coloring.
Ran out of soil, as I put all the pots that had thrips into the outdoor recycle mountain lol. Picked up a bale of promix, big bag of manure, and a big bag of compost. about 50 or so gallons 7-8 u. ft. mixed. I put all the normal organic amendments I use with my rols, and let her sit for a couple weeks after watering with the bio stimulant I got from Aqua-terra. It was frozen when I bought the soils from the local crappy tire or home hardware, after a day or so those bins get like a reactor, turning over the earth oven contents every cpl days. Now I transplanted what I had left in veg. into them, none-shocked out so far. So we’ll see how they do in bloom soon. I may have to do a little more than water only, so, I’ll figure out which bottle of liquid organic nutes isn’t fused shut with slime-goo-rust, like the welded shut little bottle of agent or…super thrive! And use a regular compost tea with added goodies.
Ok pics of my bloom room, In there is 3x Lemon Wookies, 2x Blood Diamonds. They are largest/oldest. There is 4 Sour Strawberry F.s from the OG seedrun in a 100 Liter Tote (first time with that). 2 SS in Pots, 2 Kona Gold, 4 Grape Pie x mac F1 There a couple other strains in there too. I have week 2 pics of the promix connect (test) veggers, As you clearly CAN’T see from my dubious photography, the untreated clones are closing the gap of initial accelerated growth from the myco dip. Will be interesting to see whether any noticeable longterm gain, for me. It seems to work pretty good so far. I don’t know if it is the myco colonization or some hidden goodies the promix chemists add? LOL Sorry shitty pics, I need to set my white balance to compensate for the Metal Halide I added.
Main cola from one of the lemon wookies. Just heading ice fishing, have a great day everyone.as for all 5 Sour strawberry f2’s Oh dear, caught a bit too late,a few months work, thems the beans
ten fatalities, the week 5ers just weren’t worth saving for hash, clones die in the morning. I’m sad they are sensitive for me, all other strains in room look fine, but I expect some seeds. My circ fan was off last night and today, may have minimized spread of a few burst flowers Immediately sprayed everything with water and removed and terminated with extreme prejudice, a shame as one of these girls was so delicious smelling. I’m not growing out the clones and will stop with this particular bunch. They were growing good, a shame, but that is gardening. I sincerely hope some others get them to behave because that flavour was very intoxicating.
So the sour strawberries hermed on you? Just wanted to verify thats what I was reading. Did all of them? Were they clones of 1 or all seperate seeds?
yes, unfortunately They were all seperate seeds, culled males month ago or so, ran 3 in a tupperware bin and 3 in 7 gal pots ! of the females looks clean in isolation, I’ll check her again tomorrow. The clones were taken from the bloomers before they hit the room Now, I am saying that they were sensitive to me, as we had a 4 hr blackout 3 weeks ago. I have other plants in the room that were older, many younger, but the sour strawberries were staggered over a 3 week entry window. Nothing else seems to have any balls in there, but ya never know I’ve heard many clone runs come out clean ,but this really wasn’t a case of a few sacs here and there, so I can’t justify any more time atm hopefully remaining female goes to the end, but it doesn’t have the raging flavour #2 did. Just bad luck, growing conditions maybe not what parents were used to No biggie here, patient has a good plant count and I don’t do it for cash, so just another garden glitch. It’s March, my luck is like Caesars during the Ides…
You could use your lump charcoal…break it up…innoculate with em-1…now you have one item, three purposes…(1)lump charcoal for the filter…when it is used up…(2) broken up and innoculated with em-1 (3)soil aggregate such as perlite.
Edit…just noticed I replied to post #14😳
yes indeed I haven’t got onto the em-1 parade yet, but I pulverize and add to soil, bigger chunks go into one of the many composters. Thanks I’ll do more reading on em-1
