Rough night pains and searing headache, fever. Like the flu without the barfing. concrned about shortness of breath . Should be OK daughter is rcovering fine…
Good to hear you are recovering, it didn’t last long with us, the flemmy cough in the morning lasted 10 days, and we are unvaxed as well.
My daughter brought it with her from BC when she visited. She has had 2 vaxes and it lasted almost 3 weeks with her, just 5 days for me and the wife, can take 10 days to incubate.
Thanks, Shadey. My daughter and her 1 yr old got it last spring, they were OK after a few days. The incubation period being so long its no wonder I was feeling a bit ‘off’ and tired a few days ago… I seem to be throwing it, daughter just got the ahems and headache. Thanks again for the kind words
available in Ontario? script or over–counter?
I’m pretty sure you have to obtain them via prescription. It stops viral replication. Also they have to be administered right away! Yikes
LOL my doctor is strictly part-time, and we aren’t going to clog up the abandoned hospital with this, liquids rest advil (gonna try tylenol as advil is pretty much useless) and a bit o’ cannabis is how we are riding…treat the symptoms and isolate. Just a pain in the head and general ‘soupy’ feeling. Like when you get the relaxed rubber muscle edible high only all them muscles hurt instead. Seriously though I know this disease was nothing to joke about, but I noticed (being 58 and having yearly cold flu stuff) that despite the origin or makeup of the virus, our body only has so many symptoms or reactions. This feels exactly like the flu when west nile was the predominant viriod…especially the eye muscle/socket pain. But we’re lucky I suppose or genetically superior or it was a killer of the old and sick. I may take a turn and get in a bad way . but I don’t think so, as I am getting no sicker today. No offense to anyone but personal experience is our truth, and our truth is not everyones fact.
And here’s hoping to a swift recovery!
Here, here! I totally agree!!
Feeling better today ,added 3 more cases and probably my wife will show today. A typical flu virus reaction from me, my daughters and the baby barely noticed the sniffles and aches. Were doing good, no real serious issues. My worst symptom now is easily fatigued, also coughing a bit for the first time. Glad it didn’t infect the lung chest area and adversely affect breathing. Lucky here. Outdoor plants are taking off, one split its trunk in 3 (Tyrannabis Rex), but I’ve wired her up.
rainy this morning so no pics, but things are booming a little too much. Optimism makes me go big sometimes, my daughter uses a lot of cannabis so we got licence room and allowance for almost 20 plants outdoors. So I did my usual overkill and planted them all in 25 gal drums… It takes over an hour just to water these daily (then the other 45 min of gardens and potted plants). Since my son passed I am realizing how much we rely on muscle around here…among other things. Anyway we usually put the late bloomers in the growroom if the snow comes in October…not this year… I think I have to build a cheesy ghetto enclosure before fall comes. We’re still in a funk around here but slowly restarting our lives, it’s been very hard to dedicate the effort to the plants as everyone else needs more attention atm. The plants are all huge, and I’m hoping many of the regs (8-10) turn out male so I can cull my way out of this jungle. Just about to do the lower stripping and clean the canopies as some are starting to get some hairs, clones seem to flower sooner for me especially when they are 2nd or 3rd gen clones. Everything is so much stronger done outside, huge plants, but huge risk too, hoping for a dry late summer and fall this year LOL obvy for Ontario. Picks soon all green and jungly.
I bought one of these from a friend who wanted to have an extended season but ended up not using it due to a mid-season move so she sold it to me for 1/2 the costs.
I plan on setting it up NEXT year for the spring but need to allocate space appropriately BUT the build structure to cost ratio is good enough to recommend these “Outsunny” brand greenhouses for quick-temp shelters.

Same hear friend! Same here.
My daughter-in-laws dad brought me over one of those puzzles… only its 40 feet long and 20 years old and isn;t happening (why don’t peeps take NO for an answer? LOL) that rig looks doable, much more homeowner as opposed to my ‘agricultural’ shelter laying in pieces about the lawn LOL Thanks for the link @Pigeonman
OK took a cpl pics
The UK Cheese still gets the deck with the peppers. Plants on the ground are ODxTitanic and crosses with Lucky 7’s for the meds. there is a gg4 ril, a med breath a Strawberry biscotti Sundae it is from Cannarado and smells magnificent indoors low yeilder though) and a couple of Tyrannabis rex plants (f in huge those). hi from england from another growing fossil!
i have spent the last few evenings reading through your diary/journal and very much enjoyed the journey until the sad bit,we lost our son age 18 and it was a life changing event so i feel your pain in a way.
was pleased to see the uk cheese getting a run and your lucky smell is not a problem in your area!i grew the exodus clone only uk cheese and in a shed on an isolated farm nearest dwelling some 2 miles across open fields and got the smell clear as day,so did the owner of the farm, never again without good carbon filtration.
good weed though and commands a high price here.
i hope this season treats you kindly and you get and stay fit and well,i shall follow along your further adventures and did notice a lack of suitable tunes so shall leave one of my faves, peace
Plants are looking great man
You will have to space them out a bit more or they will be competing for the light lower down. Hows your back, those pots look heavy
Thanks for reaching out @duke I am sorry to hear you have experienced your sons’ loss. Life changing is a very good way of putting it. We are gifted here, as we live in the country, as well. Only a few neighbours, but its Canada and they accept/use in their own ways. Legalization here is as expected, a shit show of shady big businesses, trying to spread our ‘system’ to other countries LOL. It is not the best BUT Canadians are allowed to grow 4 per residence and medical cards are somewhat easy to get, for large plant counts. I am having problems taking care of my plants with the love I usually give, but I am coming around. I will hopefully post more as they begin to flower soon. Thanks for the best wishes and drop by with tunes anytime. Peace
Yes a good lower stripping and dragging them apart is a good project for today, if it isn’t 30+C again…LOL excuses excuses. I should move them before watering (I’m forgetful like that)…I’ll do before and after pics hopefully too…Thanks I need to get my motivation back, I’m battling myself instead of bugs LOL.
I have been outside doing stuff the last 3 day’s, +28C feeling like 34C with the humidity going to be hotter today and tomorrow.
I am not motivated to go out there again today to cut the small areas of grass the neighbor can’t get to, and I was going to pressure wash the siding on my workshop and a couple of bits on the house that has grass stuck to it, from the weed wacker used a couple of weeks ago, as the realtor is coming Tuesday to take pics of the house and it’s thunderstorms forecast for Monday so it’s got to be done this weekend
Yes you mentioned a move, cleaning up to make things picture perfect is a pain, nothing ever looks clean enough for me at the best of times. Sorry you have to do all that work in this heat. Lots of liquids and breaks, don’t go too hard mate.
