Hey, everyone! How’s it going?
I’m Cadu. A brief introduction for those who don’t know me. I’ve been cultivating since 2017, 2018, and over the years, I’ve experimented with various cultivation methods: organic, super soil, no-till, and more recently, I transitioned to mineral cultivation, which I absolutely fell in love with. As an engineer, I’m very attached to numbers, control, and data, and mineral cultivation has given me a level of control over the plants that I hadn’t experienced before. So, my cultivation is mineral, using solid fertilizers, the famous salts.
But since I’m also passionate about organic methods, I always try to integrate a bit of organic into my mineral cultivation. That’s where aerated teas and probiotics come in. Throughout this journey, you’ll see me do some things a bit out of the ordinary, but it’s all about experimenting and optimizing the cultivation process.
About the Cultivation
Right now, my main cultivation is on a 3-meter table with 1,440 watts of power. There are two 720A panels and an additional 60 watts of far red (longer wavelength light that stimulates plant growth). This table is growing 12 plants in total, with 4 plants per square meter.
I would love to grow in larger numbers, 6 or 9 per square meter but because of regulation here I cannot have more than 16 plants in flowering stage at the same time.
The genetics I’m growing are the Wedding Crasher cut (a Brazilian classic from Symbiotic) and the Trap Queen cut, which I believe is from Compound Genetics. The Trap Queen is an incredible plant with great structure and fantastic yields. I’ll post a photo of her from my last cycle with this strain.

Cultivation Conditions
The plants are in the vegetative stage, and since I like to keep the conditions a bit warmer, I’m running temperatures between 27 and 29°C, with humidity between 75 and 85%, to ensure an ideal VPD (0.8~0.7).
Nutrition and Fertilization
I use automatic irrigation, and all my fertilizers are mineral-based. For the vegetative stage, I’m using 1.15g/LPlantProd 7-11-27 with micronutrients (0.05g/Lmicromix), plus calcium nitrate calprime haifa (0.8g/L).
I start with an EC of 3 right from the beginning since the clone is rooted.
For organic inputs, I use Gorilla Microbes (close to BigFoot that u guys have here), which contains humic acids, biochar, and mycorrhizae, plus I add an aerated tea with various organic inputs like bokashi liquid and fish-hydrolisate for the vegetative stage every two weeks.
Next Steps
The plants are about 3 weeks old from the time they were rooted as clones. Now it’s time to keep monitoring and making the necessary adjustments as they grow. I’m excited to share this cycle with you all here on Overgrow and learn from everyone.
Hope you enjoy following along, and feel free to share any tips or similar experiences!
See you soon!
