They’re looking a little rough but they should be fine. I tossed them into soil since It’s most likely going to be a few days until vivosun sends out a replacement.

I wouldn’t trust a vivosun pump if it is an important part of the operation, especially after one dying already :face_with_head_bandage:
Why not getting one from the aquarium shop?
They last long if they’re built properly.

You can still use this one to mix nutes or transport fluids from a to b for whatever reason. But if your clones depend on it,you’re probably best of getting a reliable one.

I’ll get one eventually but I essentially have no extra cash for months (I buy cannabis related things with spare pell grant money) since I just spent it on clones.

I usually keep a mother until the clones are fully rooted as a back up so it’s not all bad when things like this happen.

That sucks. I have both the aeroponics cloner and trays. I have learned I go through more clones to get a fair amount in trays, but they dry out less often. I have had several good runs with the aeroponics cloner, but It got pretty dirty and lost several clones to poor cleaning. I feel like the trays are more reliable, cheaper and easier. And I don’t have to really so much on the electric aside from the light. I usually do the earoponinc primarily for harder strains like diesel and older varieties.

Im sorry that happened to you.

Trays take me a bit more as well. If I use the tray method I take 3x the amount vs the aeroponic cloner.

How are you cleaning your aeroponic cloner? For mine I toss in a bleach cycle for a day or two (probably led to my pump dying early but who knows).

That’s good to know the aeroponic cloner is better for diesel & older varieties saves me a lot of time instead finding out myself.

It’s all good haha they already refunded me the cash so I can buy another.

I did bleach for my first clean, but I was advised against it over time because it potentially breaks down the plastic. I had a buddy advise hydrogen peroxide, dawn dish soap and water. I got better results. My basement has carpet and I bought the house with some paint molds, so I’ve been keeping my basement at a crispy 40% rh. So, it’s been harder to clone with the dehumidifier on. I got a 2nd kid coming, and being in a car accident and the potential of expensive repairs, has put me to not doing a humidifier at this moment. I’ve gotten around the humidity with longer hardening times. The stronger clones won’t wilt once the they have the vents all the way open. Aeroponics stuff is sometimes harder to diagnose.

That’s good you got refunded. That’s good customer service.

Bleach truly does fuck shit up. I had to replace the red nozzles after the the 6th clean cycle since I use a lotttttttttt of bleach. What strains have you cloned that aren’t a fan of the 40% RH in the aeroponic cloner? I’ve tried GG4, Josh D OG(KS?) and Suge and they tank 40%RH pretty well. I’ll be giving the sours a run once the new pump comes in.

If anything run the dehumidifier a little bit higher instead of getting a humidifier.

Vivosun’s solid in that department for sure. Any issue I have and they got me everytime.

Welp guys SCE just fucked me again with another electricity raise. They’re now charging me more in the winter than they are in summer lmao.

Diesel it depends. If I’m using a 100w led or a house plant bulb. Blueberry has been a challenge. I made my own seeds, they all rooted well.

Also, I had a lot of learning curves … Now that I’m sitting on a capsule in the mighty+. Might also be operator error.

Electric companies are getting a bit ridiculous. We have AEP where I live. They give us no discounts on nighttime usage.
