…for a week or 2 while im outta town? I have a gravity fed top off reservoir and float valves in each bucket.
Will they get sick if i keep them with about 3 quarts each till i get back? Do they need a real dryback?

At roughly the age/size of your plants I maintain a half a reservoir per day.
I normally veg for 6 - 7 weeks and at that point I top them off everyday.
So there should not be an issue with your plan.
About mid flower once a week I water From The Top until the reservoir is full and they just keep on trucking !
BTW > I’m in ProMix HP.
