Calling all @sharks
Hey there OG. So as many of you know I keep a running call list and use it to shout out to members when I start a new giveaway or there is some special event I want everyone to know about. This list was great for informing folks but had the limitation of only 200 tags. When I reached the limit i would have to go through and look for members that have not been active in some time so I could remove them to make room for new folks. @LemonadeJoe noticed this issue and took it upon himself to create a custom group for me that does not have the same restriction. He is so cool to notice what I was having to do and create such a great workaround for me. I am grateful. This group is essentially my call list but now it’s organized as a group. There are a couple of benefits to this method over my old method. The first is that users can add themselves to this group or remove themselves if they don’t wish to get the notifications so it puts the power in your hands. The second great advantage is I can just type @ sharks and it will notify everyone in the group saving me a bunch of time. So just to recap, joining this group is the same as asking to be added to my call list. When you join you will get a notification when I post @ sharks, alerting you that a new giveaway or event has or will be starting. That’s about it.
