Can a female plant be pollinated before pistils?

I’m worried about my pineapple thai
Both females keep adding calyxes and resin but no white pistils. They have little green ones and the males are about done dumping pollen
Is it possible they will pollenate anyway?
I am saving pollen every chance I get but it’s still a wonder I have time to do it at all.

Just collect the pollen and use it when pistils form.

I’d love to see a pic of this, don’t know if I’d be able to help but it sounds interesting :thinking:

Here’s one shot
I have close ups in my other device!
Will post more. You can see the poor males in back!

It’s never too early to pollinate! Sometimes seed pods pop and seeds fall out but when you’re doing an open pollination or pollinating multiple branches you’ll have plenty of seeds to spare! And it’s kind of nice you can f2 or bx them a little faster that way! Lol

@WeTokeChronic
Thanks for that…yea it was open pollination
I had two males out side and one inside
The seeds.will be able.to.be bred to the inside male.i.kept.pollen from.
