Been waiting for renewal approval Since Sept. 2. Called ACMPR hotline…lady said “If there are no changes then you are good to continue to grow under those limits” they recieved the application on Sept.17…hope the approval comes before expiry date…fucking this up again.
btw check the story 2 grams a month for patient from med program?? 4 joints a month fulfills a medical requirement?? what for period cramps? The gov. needs to realistically look at what is going on. True med patients can’t afford to buy govt. cannabis, opioids are cheaper. Shit, mine expired in like may and I only got around to sending it out a few weeks ago lol and the limit was changed because the place I was paying offered a higher one for the same price I paid the previous year. I don’t even grow my old limit I just figure it’s nice to have. If they really are going to change things that sucks after giving all your info and address to local popo.

yah I read that exact article, turns out they are agitatin’ over people with a 32gram per day prescription. Since the purchasing data from shoppers told em people are getting a 2ish grams average, then there are people prescribed 32 grams which they can’t figure out how someone could need that much.
Unfortunately, the stooges never phoned an expert. If they had, they would know that it’s all about the “plant count” since 5 grams gets you 49 and 10 grams gets you 98. D-OK! I’ll break the math down for them…if they really want to know.
If I were motivated to be a “legacy” seller, I could take my 100 plants and make a 120,000$ a year operation. Oh but look - I’m not stupid. You want a one-way-trip to cannabis infractions? I would still be licensed for 50 plants but then they pressured me into getting license for 100 plants lol! That just means I can do some crazy shit like make 50 extra clones in some kind of radical experiment and still show my grow off to the cops. The whole scene doesn’t make sense, if you ask me. It’s all about the canopy space, not the plant count. You’d think they would realize that by now?
Is Health Canada really this backed up? My friend and I both sent out apps out early September. One renewal and one new application. Still nothing, Health Canada confirms receiving these applications 2nd week September. Almost 4 months for a renewal and still waiting.
