Hey Guys I just heard back from my Skype call with the Medical Practitioner via Licence to Grow (company listed in the 1st post) and I’ve been approved and my prescription will be in my hands in 5 to 10 days… FANTASTIC!

Might be waiting a little longer than 4 months. My friend and I are almost 4 months just for renewals… last year it took 6 weeks.

Renewal arrived yesterday, with 2 1/2 month extension on renewal date. Cool at least they allowed for their tardiness. 20% covid bonus wow what a great promotion, Stupid Santa present, lol.

When did you submit your paperwork?
Sept. 2 it hit the mail with the approval from growyourown, it was a renewal and was reviewed and aproved by the same Health Canada rep. almost 4 mos. to the day. Original expiry was Oct. 16 renewal goes to dec. 2021.

My renewal application was delivered Dec 21 and got my papers already. That’s the fastest I’ve received them. They look like plain black and white copies though and not the usual yellow one.

I got my appointment for renewal March 3rd over the phone this year, saves me a $15 piss test and $7 car park fee so that’s good.
See how long it takes them to send me the prescription that I need to send off with the papers, which I have already filled out on the pc just have to change the dates before I print it off.

They were green before they went yellow, perhaps it’s like car licencense plate stickers, you get a different color every year so it’s easy to know what year it is for.

I went here, got my 30 plant limit FREE COVERED BY OHIP
Edit: I was told to renew 3 months in advance of the expiry date to ensure “government paperwork timing” is not a factor if you are nervous.

As long as they are working on your application it’s good. They keep your license number in perpetuity as long as you don’t let it expire. If you screw up the application and they send it back and you are correcting it, your license is still good even if it had already expired in that time frame. The rules are actually pretty nice, they don’t try and mess you up.

Thanks for the recommendation, just did my renewal through Lyte they were really easy to work with and well organized. Much better than the place I used to pay like $200 to before.
Health Canada got it back to me just 21 days after I mailed the forms, surprisingly. It took months last time. I wrote RENEWAL on the envelope, heard it helps.

I have my renewal reminder for June 1st as my licence is good until Sept 1st and I AIN’T SLIPPING ON THIS RENEWAL! lol
If you wanted a 49 plant count it’s $300 but i’m holding off until 2023 for that as I’m already finding the 29 count is a juggle. Main reason I want the next tier is for pheno hunting and breeding.

I got pulled over by the cops and my license to grow was really a game changer. He quizzed me on the rules I had to follow and I offered to show him my sack of weed, which was in the back seat. Once he saw I was only packing an extremely smelly 7 gram sack I was out of there.
When I opened the window he said he could smell “something” hah hah! So I told him straight up that was my Health Canada medical grade weed I grow. Asked to see the license heh heh trick question. How many plants I could grow. Told him one hundred, but I only grow 24 at a time. So on. They just want to hear the truth and it’s all good. Start spinning tales and lies and shit, you could be in a heap of trouble.
