The comments after article are quite amusing.

Well, well, look at that.

Pulled from below piece:

Existing machine trimmers aren’t cost effective (on a per-pound basis relative to human labor) because they can damage too many precious trichromes, which are the barely visible crystal-like hairs covering the buds, secreting the cannabinoids (chemicals i.e. THC/CBD) that intoxicate/heal.

Yes, it is a teeny tiny company, which seems to be quite prone to exaggerate with unsubstantiated marketing hype.

This is excerpted from article, and made me giggle;
“Cann10 and Epigenetics will jointly invest dozens of thousands of dollars to promote research of the cannabis…”

Dozens of thousands of dollars? hahaha

I got a nice belly laugh from this.

Anywhere near the current rate of taxation is a boon to black marketeers

Incompetence, or in cahoots?
Hmm?

Similar issue in the states. State law vs Federal law. Some untested waters here where things can shift at the whim of the Justice Department.

Incompetence + in cahoots.

Here is more on the cannabis tax conundrum.
The writer makes a few valid points, but displays some
weird, convoluted logic overall.

IMO, all states need to allow home growing, as I think this would level things out more
efficiently.

Pulled from piece;

A method generating excitement due to its high sensitivity is a genetic test called polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and it is capable of detecting pathogens with only a single organism present. PCR can also be multiplexed to look for many pathogens at once. Further, the detected quantities are not biased due to differences in species growth rates.

Well color me skeptical, but study was conducted on only 45 people.

Something else in play, maybe?

I pulled this from article;

Eventually, the market might dictate that growers use cheaper greenhouses and take production outdoors where costs are bound to be much lower. In the meantime, it’s going to be a steep learning curve for the burgeoning industry.

IMO, this is inevitable, I further see many operations moving to the sun belt states, because outdoor year round growing is more viable and energy efficient.
