Cannabis Current Events (Part 1)

Wow, that is truly pathetic. What a sad commentary on the deplorable state of law enforcement.

I have never been thrown in the hosegow for any reason, cannabis related or otherwise.

I think I have seen diseased psychopaths at Walmart though.
I sure wouldn’t want to be locked up in the pokey with them.

oh yes, here in Massachusetts you can be locked up just for having a penis! Or at least it seems that way. :hushed:

Legalization is a two edged sword.
Governments are demonstrably not trustworthy!

Massachusetts is a huge gardening state! People here tend to like gardening and pets. My small town has 3 separate, large nursery/gardening stores which is typical. Already I can see 2 people’s outdoor plants just by driving down my local street. The government’s high taxes and nuisance fees & regs are not going to work out well. I don’t think businesses are going to sell much flower.

Nobody will back him i think. If he does crack down he will be lining the pockets of illegal growers and making it more profitable for everyone to go underground.

You are most certainly correct.
Sessions needs to respect State’s rights.

I suspect he must be in cahoots with black marketeers!

I think if you go digging into these political families you will find many are somehow profiting from the WOD - laundering money, shipping contraband, taking bribes from the larger organized crime players.

For example here in Mass. a few years ago our US Rep. Congressman Tierney was discovered to be laundering money for offshore gambling casinos. It makes sense, big politicians and law enforcers can take advantage of being above the law. Send the cash off to your UBS Swiss bank account.

And of course many political families like the Kennedys made a fortune after the feds banned alcohol in the 1920’s. Another recent example would be the ocean freighter owned by Mitch McConnell’s family being busted for shipping cocaine up from Colombia.
