Serious risk?

I’m looking forward to the various law enforcement agencies and medical associations explaining how they lied to everyone for years about how “dangerous” marijuana was. And the apology that should follow for the unlawful harrasment

Brazen propaganda.
However, and regardless, it is clearly advantageous for all to overgrow.

this continues to be an amazing story - Oklahoma is blowing away “liberal” states like Mass. and New Jersey, Vermont, Maine in allowing thousands upon thousands of small businesses and farmers to enter the weed industry!!!

The northeast market is essentially still under Prohbition when you compare the numbers…this is all because Oklahoma respects farmers and farming, while northeast states see farming as an impediment to real estate & property tax development:

Oklahoma, surprisingly, is now the fastest growing medical cannabis market in America. Just one year after the passage of State Question 788 (S.Q. 788) there are already 154,890 approved patients and caregivers, according to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), and business licenses have been issued to over 3,559 growers, just over 940 processors, and 1,673 dispensaries

The NE states have older, more well established and extensive tentacles of corruption in place. They also all have far larger populations which means significantly more money in play for the politicos and their cronies.
More incentive to rig the game.

OK population is under 4 million, whereas NY alone has almost 20 million.

absolutely! I think the other big difference is that agriculture is a big industry in OK - I’m guessing it’s probably 1st or 2nd to oil. In Massachusetts the medical industry and pharma industry are extremely powerful - Harvard Medical School is here.

“Partners” hospital/doctor system, controlled by Harvard Medical School, is the state’s largest employer. They donated money against legalization - cannabis keeps people out of the hospital and off Pharma drugs.

And the largest corporation in Massachusetts by market cap. is Biogen, which is in the business of developing drugs that cost $300,000 per year.

“she designed a machine to prevent or decontaminate mold, mildew, yeast, E. coli, salmonella and aspergillus. “Compliance and consumer safety in cannabis is essential,” Ellsworth said. “We wanted a clean, safe product for consumers and one that passed all testing to limit revenue losses for cultivators.”

This is inevitable.
But the way I see it, yet another reason to overgrow.

To Bill Maher and HBO something has to be racist in order to be bad. Surveillance is wrong because it violates peoples’ privacy. Sure it’s racist but only because someone’s privacy was violated, which it does to people of all races…

Meanwhile, in New Hampshire.

Nothing less than a travesty.

Patients should absolutely not be considered criminals if they grow a few plants for their own use in the ‘Live Free or Die’ state."

This is so much awesome! I grew up about an hour north of Naples. Down there they started hitting people for “Controlled substance without prescription” like they would for benzos instead of misdemeanor possession as soon as the medical marijuana law for flower went into effect. This destroys their two main detection for arrest methods, the dogs, and the “I smelt somethin funny”, at least temporarily, and may deter arrests for small quantities due to costs of the new tests necessary to determine the difference between hemp and marijuana

Edit: Now we just need a law on the ballot that allows personal grow. If the politicians put it together it definitely wont include personal grows and will be controlled by corporations so they can tax the piss out of it.
