My dog does that only with cigarettes and bags of weed. Sheāll eat weed raw, but decarbed and sheās not interested. If she has a recreational edible she pukes and then pees uncontrollably for 8 hours.
I give her the same CBD dose as I take.
Iāve learned that if I give her a dose that doesnāt make her tired at first afterwards, then sheās the same as before and only a little bit better.
I dose up to it each time though. Her initial discussion is only 5mg 3 times a day. By the time the bottle runs out sheās at 25-30mg 3x a day.
She knocks out for a couple of hours and after she gets up I see her with the energy and mobility of a puppy. Sheās 10.5 years old yesterday.
If I give her any standard pet dose sheās still affected by her hip dysplasia. 25mg is when she stops limping and having a hard time getting up. When she sleeps while CBD is currently medicating her though itās useless to try waking her. She goes full dead weight and if you want to move her you have to carry her 90lb ass out of a chair she got so comfy she melted into. Last night she had a bright idea. She slept at the foot of my front door sealing the crack for me and also giving her direct access to the flow of smoke to inhale. Smart dog. She became one with the area and sealed it corner to corner. LoL
