Cannarado Genetics

Ok, so i was just having a bit of a search for more info about Cannarado, and discovered, much to my suprise, that Cannarado doesn’t have a thread ( please delete if this is not the case). I have only grown out two strains of their’s, Goodnight Moon and Twins, but they both tuned out fanatastic. Currently have a goodnight moon abut five weeks into flower and it’s starting to look the goods.

I have only ever heard good thing’s about rado’s work, seems to be in the top tier of breeders, so i thought i would start a thread for all the rado heads, and hopefully there are a few, with more experience with this breeder than me, to congregate.

Pinging @9mag because I know they like Cannarado too.

I’ve never grown any Cannarado but I’d love to see jt

I grew their Sour Sundae and it was decent on all fronts (taste, high, structure, yield…). No fruitiness or sweetness (would have expected that because of the Sundae Driver heritage), but classic “Aftershave Kush” smell and taste with a little bit of sour.

I grew Cannarado’s Weave Match in 2023/2034.
Nice plant - small stature with dense buds and great smoke.

Not sure when I got these but I’m happy I snapped a picture of the pack.

These were a freebie from a DNA genetics order. In that pack was a mother plant I kept around longer than any to this date. It had an extreme juniper and lavender flavor, heavy long lasting buzz and pretty good yields. I wish I had that one still and I’ve been searching for something similar ever since.

Cannarado has some of the most stable genetics. Love their gear. Here’s some Tropical Slushee from awhile back.

Hell yeah! Thanks for starting this thread. Had been wishing there was a thread to talk cannarado!

Currently almost finished flowering cake fruit. New pics coming soon

Blown away with the vigor and growth of cake fruit. Grew like triangle kush but with a heavy indica influence that lead to lots of branching and sturdy stalks

5150 triangle x chem (triangle leaner) from CSI in-front with cake fruit rear to show a comparison of vigor and structure

Old pic of Big Hunk. Heavy yielder. Lot of old school skunk spray terps that takes me back to the early 2000s. Grown indoors with a filter and you could smell them in the driveway. House flooded while i was drying them, plants never got wet but high humidity indoors. no mold issues during dry. Kept hanging for 2-3 months with low humidity (40-50 rh) while i cleaned up from flood and still stinky when trimmed, albeit less stinky than prior.

Very potent smoke that made it feel like part of my brain was missing but i didnt have the mental capacity to realize. Happy carefree high

Big hunk is back left plant. Guessing to be around day 30-40. Big stretch but look at that cola forming! Only pic i took of her….

I didn’t get to grow their Slap n’ Tickle but I did get a nice bag of it (Grape Pie x GMO). It was one of the strains that really turned me onto gmo and was also one of the only time I ever tasted a real “grape” terpene. Smoked lots of grape stuff but never like the Slap n’ Tickle.

I grew out a pack of Skunkmasters Tickle Burger, which was Slap N’ Tickle x Double Burger, but I didn’t find a grape :frowning:

Potato head. Very easy going. very high yield. Only vegged 40ish days and she took up 1/3rd of a 4x4.

Finished flower just before harvest very easy trim too. Hard to describe the terps. Sweet cleaning products is probably closest description i can give. Very unique profile. Relaxing stony high. Appropriate name

@resimax is correct, I’ve had a good experience with rado gear. Their Sundae Driver is amazing, and one of the best looking nugs I’ve ever held. The grape pie they breed with is by far the grapiest profile I’ve experienced. If you’ve not had much luck finding those terps in other “grape” strains I’d recommend looking for anything in their lineup with the Grape Pie mom or Grape Pie bx male.

Shit!! I forgot rado does regs at times

Stoked to see the rado love! Ive been a big fan for a long time. I even hunted and ran a cut of his Resting Bitch Face commercially(basically a really amazing TK91). I even met him and bs’d for a good 15-20 minutes at the Emerald Cup 2017 at his booth. He was more than happy to help me pick out the packs that would do best in my climate. And was super knowledgeable and a downright nice dude with a really cool breeding angle of pairing up the amazing classic highs with the really cool newer flavors.

Heres a 50 foot run of Resting Bitch Face. We could smell those suckers almost half a mile down the road

Yeah dude! I just ran a breeding run with a male from Cannarado. Made a handful of crosses, but I did cross it with another Cannarado plant. I got some extras if you’re looking for regs to run, shoot a DM for more details

It was either 2017 or 2018 i drove from San Diego to Sacramento and straight back, just to hit Rados booth and the Sundae Driver pks that were hot at the time sold out right in front of me.
