Ahhh home sweet home

He argue the same points
I tried to get more info from him but it got lost in the usual online arguing and I lost interest

It will do perfect!! I guarantee you that… it keeps the temps very on point… even in the colder environment

I dont blame you fish… just trying to get to the bottom of something then the bs comes out lol!!

Theres definitely something to warmer… i assume bacteria and microbes can move faster in warmer as well… like when its cold… how your hands dont work the same or really cold and your lips dont move when you talk etc…

This happens to bacteria easier… they like that warmth and can move faster when warmer… and work faster because of it…

I would have loved to pick his brain but never got the chance
Shame

In a nutshell I think time was more detrimental to bud than heat so faster dry better ( less oxidisation) ?
Think his machine does 75f but don’t quote me on that

Yeah i agree fast wont let oxidation happen… not in 5 days… i wonder if we can identify oxidation with a microscope… @JoeCrowe is oxidation identifiable? And would a regular microscope do it?

There’s a link to the start of our only report on interaction with customer service so far. They were quick and nice about getting back, it just sucks that there’s a problem they know they could (even make money) fix(ing) but have no plans to, just a reliance on their community of users to circumvent. Which is done easily enough, but… C’mon. …c’mon.

So I guess my experience depends on your definition of backing it up.

Has this deterred my dreaming of a second unit?

Not a damn bit.

Stay up

Honestly at the price point I’d expect damn near perfection.

I’ve seen mods and different things done throughout this thread and I really try not be a debbie downer but to me a product in this price range should be damn near flawless and modifications shouldn’t even be a thing to be thought of.

This is one purchase I’ve debated for a very long time…

I do know you’re very similar to me when it comes to being “anal” in the grow for lack of a better term. So I may just have to experience it for myself but your recommendation definitely helps.

They send the air duster to keep that channel open to drain… sometimes leaf or whatever finds its way… just aim the duster right in that hole and blast it through… shouldnt be an issue after that…

@Kgrim was working on a prototype for the back drain…

Yup i read it… and i lean towards herbnows ideas on that… i posted my experiences with warmer in that thread… lets see what happens lol

Probably a trade off

Low temps less thc but more terps

Higher heat more thc but less terps ?

It’s all about staying within parameters like growing

60 is the lowest end , 75 is highest end

Wonder what the sweet spot is , probably users prefeference

For sure man… also it only stays at 75 f for a period of only 2 days… so its very fast…

Thats why the second step is a step not a slope… quickly dropping to 68 instantly after that 2 days…

After this cure im going to try 72 f and 70 f instead… i assume it will take longer but may be a little more delicate and reserve terps more? We are going to find out together my friend

I’m going to print this over winter break.

The ONLY actual complaint I have is the drain. The bottom backside is not convenient. A more sealed collection jug would be an idea too. The water smells like weed and I make a huge mess every time.

I looked in the thread and I’m guessing i missed it. I was wondering how was the product was when you were done with your first cure going to 75? Did it seem like you lost a lot of terps in comparison? I got some frosty stuff coming up and am scared of 75 but am going to do it.
