Its a diy the guy who showed a tutoral on a few other sites on how to build them calls them the drydoc he is known as growdoc

I have my DIY version and my Cannatrol. I find them to be very similar as well… Are you running these on VPD or on temp and RH ? Would be fun to see your graphs if you have data collectors in both machines. very cool Cheers @jj520az
This one runs on rh has a aci controller 69+ for rh controller uses unit fore temp i could probably get another outlet plug for aci controller and run both on that

Most definitely thers no comparison in quality
I believe in time someone will come up with something like the troll more affordable to the masses. It did put a hole in my wallet 
But I don’t see that vivosun thing being produced due to patent violations with the trol.
My buddy owns a growshop and was the first to sell the cannatrol in oz, he’s inquiring about it for a while now and they keep knocking him back.
The v cure is a different design than the trol
Trols use thermoelectric cooloing vivos design runs on a new style compressor with variable speed from my understanding i now a few growers down in oz

Cannabis is definitely a fun industry to watch the innovations and adaptions from other industries as they come online. Its almost always the better choice to wait 6 months-a year for a new competitor to bring pricing down to a reasonable level

I made one of these dyi cannatrols and use a aci 69+ to control the humidity. Works great highly recommend! I also use it to store sealed weed to keep constant low temps for storage.
That made a lot more sense when I first woke up
