End of December I will be looking for testers on these. Details to come but just thought I’d mention it now if anyone wants to plan ahead to throw their hat in the ring lol. Headbanger project after, & possibly a part 2 on the Dawg’s Waltz stuff… there’s a couple other cuts I’m not holding but will probably end up grabbing and knocking up as well.

I’d be interested. Just reading about that Dawg’s waltz (over on your icmag thread) and it sounds right up my alley. I love purple urkle and I love pungent, raunchy, gassy, skunky, etc.
The legend og x DW, NorCal BB x DW and/or the f2 GMO x DW both sound really interesting and my type of weed. Never had Irene but usually like OGs.
What would you hope, or expect to find in those crosses?
I think I should have space by then too, but I’ll know for sure when it gets closer. I’ll be sprouting a pack of bodhi sunshine daydream f1’s next for that sunshine daydream project I have going (hopefully in the next couple weeks) but they should be close to ready for flower by December. I was going sprout the Bodhi black triangle after that but I could do yours instead. I enjoyed growing the last one for you.

Yeah Dawgs Waltz is one of my favorite grapes. To me it’s so much better than just a GDP or whatever on it’s own. They usually leave me yawning and wanting to go to sleep. Obviously that has it’s place but again to me it’s too one note pony low ceiling type of shit lol. The Waltz has the relaxed stonyness from the urk as well as the energizing chemmy potent hybrid effect and a classic tasty grape candy old school dank gas terp mix… at least the preferred phenos do. some tres dawg phenos still show up but to me those aren’t the star of this line.
The waltz itself needs new legs and vigor, the line i have, even though it’s still faster than straight urkle, can’t really contend with the modern commercially minded plants indoors. I made some crosses with it back in 2017-2018 (GMO, Forum GSC, Animal, Giesel, & some others), and with the cookie stuff i saw too much redundancy and ogkb mutant runt garbage so with these crosses I’m trying to stay away from dipping back into the purp, cookie, and chem mixtures.
inbred lines can sometimes dominate in offsprings so im hopeing some of these aren’t like that and actually provide actual new f1 hybrid vigor n whatnot!
most of these im mainly just curious to see what pops out
super boof is just an awesome plant to grow and it’s quick with tropical terps and an even footed high. would love to meld those terps together and have the waltz inherit some of the boof growth characteristics.
lemon tree i love lemon terps. this plant is very frosty and smells to me like the yellow skittles mixed with some other shit… semi inspired to make LT x Waltz based on meltingpot’s Grape Pie x Lemon Tree that looks like an utter banger.
blueberry is nobodys nurserys cut aka bay/norcal blueberry… to me this resembles closely some of the best blueberry i was picking up 2000-2007ish in nyc. grape x blueberry crosses are always bangers so why not lol.
this will be my first time breeding with the legend. no clue what to expect but would love to see some dense grape gassy buds with a heavier effect!
irene i always throw into breeding projects lol love that plant but hate growing that hoe. always down to make seeds with her to look for that irene or better lol.
garlic sunrise is my keeper of gmo x lemon tree. this plant stretches to the moon so i want to see how it breeds, maybe the waltz will tame her! its a fruity garlicky plant with a edgy daytime chem kind of high. the smoke leaves a room with that incense note you would expect from a haze. it’s pretty interesting. pretty sure this bitch stretches more than the gmo cut itself tho hahah
A.S.S… well grape skunky buds just sound awesome lol… in my dirty sanchez cross, in the f1’s i found a plant i was calling gross grape cuz it smelled like your grannies perfume mixed with some grapey purse candies mixed with straight assy nastiness lmao.
and the GMO x Waltz x Waltz will be a backcross. i have 3 gmo waltz f2 females that are spitting images of the waltz f5 plants i am growing. the goal is to see if a backcross would be more vigorous than the f5 without diluting the waltz profile too much. this one will specifically use 4 waltz f5 males as well.

the lemon tree and legend og crosses look fire, I was about to volunteer then realized I should probably do a few test runs while I get back into the swing of things. I really enjoyed legend og. I grew her as a cut as well as a cross with wedding cake. Lots of nice pine terps but really weak scraggly stems that don’t support the buds well

Dawg’s Waltz project clones of all the females (16 F5 girls plus 3 GMO x Waltz f2 females, and 5 boys. Running all the ladies seedless for selections… In terms of rubbing the resin of the seeded plants outside, there’s a couple nice ones… Cleanest grape candy terps are coming from #14 but of course we will have to see how it all pans out when the plants aren’t focusing on seed production!
I gotta take cuts of all these again, repot, then flower.

I shouldn’t have any issues with high heat/humidity this time, so we will get to see what she really looks like flowered out properly.
Definitely a good yielding, potent strain. Everyone wants more of it, so I’m happy to oblige! lol
