Carver Farms Norville swnugget cut

Disclaimer: If you see a lot of posts about Carver Family Farms, it’s because they’re in my area and have some good genetics to try. Nobody’s sponsoring me; for now I just work for a living.

This is the Norville Swnugget cut. Here’s what Carver says about it:

Norville(by swnugget)
Lineage: Dot Matrix x Hatch Breath
Dot Matrix (swnugget) = Gelato33 x Juicy Juice
Hatch Breath (swnugget/Crown City Cut) = Chile Verde x Mendobreath F3
Veg Time: Long
Flowering Time: 56-60 Days
Potential Potency THC: 29.6%

Norville is weird. Norville is unique. She is named after Shaggy from Scooby Doo because she is…well, shaggy!

She takes her time vegging and flies through flower harvesting faster than the average time of 63 days.

She has a short/squat and extremely sturdy stature and requires little to no staking. Top her aggressively to get her to bush out. She can be trellised to spread out early in veg but will start to get stiff and not want much training once she’s set in her ways.

She likes low water and minimal defoliation.

Prepare for her to get extremely frosty and have salty crystals upon finishing. She is a potential washer.

My Initial Impressions:
I really don’t like the lettuce leaves, and the fact that she’s not a stretcher. Ostensibly, she needs a long veg time. Both bad things to me, but the most important thing is the smoke. So I’m going to grow her out and let you know what I think. If I end up really liking her, then I’ll make some S1s and share.

I flipped her yesterday, so she’s notionally due around February 3rd. Pictures in the next post.

I could be mistaken but she looks like she’s a touch overfed. My apologies if I’m mistaken.

That’s possible. I just up-potted her into used soil and amended, so it could have come out too hot. But the weirdness of the leaves is genetic.

I would keep an eye on that but she looks good
