First time I saw it I was walking my dogs and he was walking his. I noticed a cat trailing him and told him he was being followed. He laughed and said it was his and it always followed them on walks. Now every time I see them I look and there’s the cat. Always a ways back, but following.
Our little Beans. My cousin found him on the Long Island Expressway…( Had to get out and stop traffic) and brought him to the campground we were all staying at. It happened to be the day we were spreading my father’s ashes in a Lake the family has been camping at since the 60’s. This cat is a dead Ringer for our favorite cat that we lost back in 2018. The minute I saw the cat I knew it was a gift from my dad.
Here’s are two adoptees that need to develop socialization skills, particularly the little guy on the left. They are brother and sister and sister is very caring. Been a long time since I had to kitty proof a room and it is amazing the spaces they can stuff their bodies . @PlantShepherd I am venturing down the same road you had with your pup, wish me luck!
New adoptees?!?! Congratulations, @Tejas! They sure are cute, all snuggled up there.
Congratulations Tejas!!! They are just absolutely adorable!! You’re gonna love them, and everything is going to work out great! I’m so jealous! I want a cat so bad! Please tag me if you post up more pictures!
I certainly will.
Yup, that’s true love !
Bonding can sometimes be painful !!!
Here are our two gray tuxedos. I thought I had a picture of them munching on some fan leaves when I took some plants out to clean, but I guess I never documented that moment. They do love eating cat grass and hippie grass haha.
As you can see in the photo they’re not shy about investigating various scraps of food in the sink, garbage, etc. The one in the background often acts more like a racoon than a cat, but she is funny and affectionate so we keep her around lol. The one in the foreground will try to snatch noodles off your plate, especially if they have pesto on them. We joke that she is our little Italian kitty. They are quite badly behaved but we love them!
Their hearing is so incredible that it legitimately could be considered a superpower. All of our animals (including a duck) could easily recognize our different vehicles, both by sight and sound.
I’m mostly confined to a chair because of my mobility issues. My buddy here is my only friend and companion. I might threaten to nuke him from orbit when he acts a fool, but he’s a good little boy. (Sometimes.)
He lets me know if there’s anything going on, too. Definitely doesn’t like delivery people, he growls and occasionally tries charging towards them (he is strictly indoors).
I have had two blue (grey) cats, and they both were pretty spicy. There’s just something about them, I love the blue variety. Matter of fact, I used to raise grand champion blue satin rabbits and they were the same color.
The potatoes waiting for the light to turn on this morning. Lol, I do love them.
And of course Petunia waiting for the fish tank - she’s got hours to wait
I had never seen a cat pay any attention to tv before our boy Ike. 9/10 times its animal stuff that catches his interest but there have been random other things. My gf was watching some baby animal videos on youtube one day and he just planted himself under the tv staring.
Obligatory Ike pics
