while im here i wanted to ask how people on here feel about others using the seeds they gifted in a trade for something else they feel more desirable for ? is that bad ethics or agreed that it is ok since it works out that the grower gets something they have been seeking ?

i donāt think thereās anything wrong with it, if the person trading with you wants them then at least theyāre going to a better home. i recently learned that someone traded one of my strains to a person that has or will actually start them, and i feel good about that but maybe because i made the strain? i donāt know.
itās not set in stone, but i also plan to throw together a big bag of strains and freebies in a give away. itās very likely that some strains from others might be included but i might keep it to mostly freebies so i donāt upset anyone.
Once they are yours, they are yours. Thatās my opinion, unless explicitly stated otherwise at time of gifting
Personally when I give out seeds I could not care less what anyone does with them unless they sell them. Selling them would be a major no no to me. Other than that trade them, grow them, gift them or hell, throw them on your popcorn. They are yours to do with as you see fit.
It might be up to the donator. I have had some one offer me seeds and say if you donāt like them, trade for something you do.
That thing looks serious! Iām super excited to use my hand made deer antler pipe, good story behind it, and some one made it, loved it by hand. Even if I suck in weed and it smokes like shit, still gonna love it

ya thats what i would assume but never know some others might be offended. i just see that i came here with no seeds but my meph autos (not a fan of autos) and have accumulated about 6 or 7 strains along with the 3 i had personally and then a clone swap with a member gave me 3 new strains to try and then a trade got me 5 new strains. lol. so anything i dont use will be swapped in trades for stuff i think will fit me better or given away once the watercooler opens back up in the future lol
