I actually have a farm of Ender 3 printers here. I mainly make money with them by selling little model railroad houses on eBay. Thereās actually some money to be made thereā¦ Iāll also say Iāve designed quite a few things for the grow room and some of those might be on eBay as well they as well but Iām not gonna hawk my wares here because Iām not a paying sponsor . I find organic searches tend to equal more purchases anyway.
As such Iām more than happy to help any of you guys or gals with your printers. Since Iāve actually designed anything that Iām selling selling I donāt share those files for obvious reasons but I can point you in the direction of similar ones . Too many times when somebody releases a file that theyāre making money on it just goes to shitā¦ And Iāve put in the time to design what I have.
But really if any of you Need help with a 3-D printer well qualified and more than happy to help.
I see that thingiverse was mentioned, awesome place to find all kinds of things to print. Hate trinkets waste of.my filament, prefer to design usable thingsā¦ SOā¦ tinkercad.com for those who wanna design things to printā¦ super easy, think dynamic wooden blocks, just put em together. All kinda of shapesā¦
Well when I give out a strain I try to include strain info, plant parents and the grower to field any questions. As a medical user and licenced medical grower I know the value of that information. That said there are more than medical patients here. Why cant both recreational and medical users be included? I get what you mean about slinging out unknown seeds not being helpful and perhaps itās just me but I try to get info on stuff before I send it out.
Yes it seems to me people have a problem with other people coming on here and actually bring part of the community and wanting to know other users people talk about medical cannabis patients well I am one and if your one yourself you know if your a cancer patient or were one how dark of a hole it really is ans how actually chatting improves the human mind and soul and brings the immune system uo
I used medical cannabis patients as an example of how some of the current trends are having negative impacts on the immediate community, and the on the movement for medical cannabis and cannabis activism in general.
I absolutely think recreational cannabis users should be included. But I still think that anyone serious about enjoying cannabis and anyone involved in cannabis activism should care about what they are growing and sharing. It doesnāt become meaningless just because someone is using it recreationally.
Iām insulted that you would even say something like that to me not knowing a single thing about me . Nor why i use cannabis. And I frankly donāt feel like explaining my issues to you in this context.
Never said I enjoyed the drama in fact if you read my posts I donāt enjoy the drama. I didnāt realize you needed to show a diagnosis to be welcome. Nor did I realize meeting others who shared passion is a crimeā¦ If you think Iām not adding any value to the community then just tell me and show me the door. I think Iād bring some value and I enjoy the fact that Iāve met quite a few other people people who can also teach me things. If you think Iām not adding any value to the community then just tell me and show me the door.
Wow. Some people just loved to piss in others Cheerios
I %100 agree with you on this. I am not saying that the site should be serious or sterile, just that we should keep our fellow medical patients and the greater cause of the right to use cannabis in mind with everything we do. Especially when it comes to sending and receiving cannabis seeds, because this is where the rubber meets the road for medical cannabis patients. Sending seeds is not rhetoric, it has real life consequence.
We have a lot of chat, humor, and meme threads. We have medical cannabis threads where people support each other. The community has room for all of this, and this has always been part of the community.
On the contrary, I have really appreciated your posts about forum moderation and etiquette. I did not single out you or your actions on the site in any way.
I was replying to your post about changes in the site culture, and giving my view on what the biggest changes are, and how they have impacted the most vulnerable members of the community.
@Nagel420
I can see how my response to your acceptance of recent drama could have been bit too pointed, and for that I apologize.
Seeds are forced upon no one. If they are offered, they donāt have to be accepted. If they are given away, everyone is not forced to join in the giveaway. Info is given out or can easily be googled or searched through Overgrows amazing search feature (that everyone forgets about?). There is a trading thread and there was a free seeds thread to accommodate a number of needs and wants. Not to mention all the seed runs and auctions everyone has a chance to be a part of if they so choose.
Cannabis is not 1 size fits all. One strain that helped 1 person with 1 issue wont necessarily be the right fit for the next person, hence self testing is the best and only way to make sure your on the right track. Lots of people donāt even have access to seeds or cant justify purchasing overpriced seeds to try and find strains for relief. Donāt expect someone to start up a grow diary right after they have won seeds, some people are in the middle of growing and some are held back by plant numbers in general or possibly have a few other strains in the pipeline ahead of them. Nothing wrong with giving away seeds, trading seeds, offering seeds etc. I think the max I have seen someone win in a week was about 50 seeds (5 strains) so not sure who you saw win 100ās in a week. My wife has cancer, went through a double mastectomy and is undergoing years of treatment without knowing when the cancer is going to go back into overdrive again, so we have been testing out strains for months trying to find some that will best fit her needs for the issue at hand and be able to start a preventative regiment for her. Only issues I have seen were usually between 2 users that butted heads for various reasons, a mod lighting a fire, or long time users that had issues with other long time users and ended up starting an old fire back up and barking about it. Everyone is not going to go about a grow diary, giveaway, seed production the same way. I see how some users or mods would have an issue on how the FSFC thread was going, but thatās why another thread was made to accommodate both sides of the fence and that thread got shut down as well. I could keep going on but this is all obvious, common sense stuff. I am upset that me and the wife got to where we are able to give back to the community that has helped us and now our hands are tied apparently. Not all directed at you, just a few thoughts is all.
I know itās a touchy subject, but Iām finally at peace accepting my āextreme PTSD/anxietyā diagnosis. And was thankfully led to our favorite plant for help, as opposed to meds that do not work, or maybe even make issues worse. If any one else has similar issues, whatās your go to strains? I ask often because I donāt have experience in many. I first grew GG, and sampled and can say Iām super happy with the results! Very relaxed, still motivated to get things done, and overrall way better outlook on things. I lean a lot toward the ārecommended usesā info on the strains, at least thatās what led my initial purchase of seeds before finding the forum. Iām personally looking at not eating the fridge, and no solid couch lock. But I must say, the GG I quick dried and samples last night was great when smoked and awake, but holy shit I had like 20 lucid dreams going on at once, plenty in relation to situations that caused my anxiety to begin with lol.
Everyone has there bad days and my sincere apologies @bassman5420 that was partially my fault for snapping back at insults I can assure you it wonāt happen again
All good man, it happens and we try to simmer down and figure things out so we can move on or adjust. Just trying to point out that everyone is human and when multiple humans get together and interact, there can and will be some issues weather they are big or small.
