You can launch your bags in the freezer after and break off most of the excess sticky stuff. I wash a couple times then add a bit more ice for third wash etc to keep the water frozen

by stickiness if you mean the hash you want to collect it’s not too bad, keep a spoon in the freezer and use that to scrape up when you want to collect. You can stretch the bag screen over a plate or frisbee to make it easier to collect.

Back to back right?

I meant having to clean the bags between washes :grimacing:

You bet
Wash, Collect, Add more ice if needed, Wash again.
Yea you can just freezer em for a minute or so then knock off the excess, Iso is also an option but I try to avoid it

Ok. I only have 2 buckets. one with a hole in the bottom for the bags, one to mix in. I’ll just mix it for idk how long, then pour it into the bags. Rinse w water? Then pour the work bag back into the mixing bucket and add more ice/water, mix again for idk how long… while that’s in the mixing bucket, we will collect the first wash and wipe the bags down. Then pour it back into the bags again… I think I’ll probably stick to 2 washes. Ohhhh boy…

Sounds like a plan! Just remember to be gentle. The key is keep the trichomes frozen, the agitation from the water will be enough to knock those heads off. The ice is just there to keep things frozen.

Ok! About how much do you work with at a time? In terms of, say… gallon ziplocs?

Oh and I have a paddle and drill I plan to use. I can just turn it down? Hell I guess I’ll figure it out after this first time :grimacing::grimacing:

I usually sit around 300-500 grams of fresh frozen trim in my 5 gallons. I use a mini washing machine. Yea that’s what the first run is all about, get a feel for things and learn, you’ll be crushing it in no time

Awesome, I overthink things a lot when they’re new. Thank you for the support :joy:

No worries, I do the same. Good luck!

No worries I thought that was normal as I do it every day

Look! I know it’s probably not as good as what you guys can do! But the wife is happy bc all the trim is out of the freezer and I got this out of it :woman_shrugging: It will take up a lot less space at least lol my damn back hurts but this is something I’ll only be doing about twice a year. Probably.

The second wash, I took out the 160 bag. The third wash I only used the work bag and the 75 (or 73 I don’t remember lol).

I stopped when I started seeing more green. Not sure if that’s the way to do it or not but there’s always room for improvement :ok_hand: I’m kinda proud

And I decided to do the third wash bc it felt like I didn’t wash good enough the first wash.

Idk what to do with it next. I plan on just using it in a bong or cone :woman_shrugging: Bust her up and let her dry, then break it down more and store as sand or block it up after it dries. Haven’t decided. I’m just worried about it drying for now. And how I’ll get it off that screen lol

Well done. If you look at each pile under magnification you can really see how much green plant material is in each one. Knowing that can help you make improvements your next run.

Deff like the sounds of this one …now I have a comeback at work when they say …that’s a little overkill don’t you think

I prefer a neon colored mesh tanktop with the bottom pulled through the neck and a leather Confederate army hat with a giant feather. We can discuss the sunglasses.

Too-fncking-shay, is what I say.

I KNEW I saw you at the local 7-11. That neon mesh tanktop is unmistakable! I heard there was some guy offering free handies behind the 7-11, never thought it would be you!

Small world eh?

Nicely done, looking like some yummy hash piles, especially that 75u!

I let it stay out last night on that screen… it’s really sticky. How in the world do you guys get it to the sandy looking stuff lol it was hard to even pull it apart so air could get in

You can shelf dry it, or freeze dry it. I’ve even done some in the dehydrator.
