@treedawg i think you're overcomplicating it a bit man you don't need a huge check list. its usually the biggest problem for beginners is loving your plant to death and overthinking things. all you absolutely need is bagged coco, pots, fertilizer, lights, and seeds. that's all i use. i use tapwater and i don't check PH or PPM but if you really want to get a liquid PH kit its like 5-10$.
for a beginner grower in coco i would recommend using megacrop nutrients. it's a complete 1 part nutrient w/ full secondary, specifically designed for cannabis. you can't get any easier than a 1 part plus it's very affordable. $55 bag would last you forever, probably a couple years with only a few plants and you don't need anything else with it
i think if you were doing hydro in 1 gallon pots you could probably pull a decent yield still, like perlite hempy buckets with drip feed system that fed multiple times a day or something or flood/drain
