Check out my perpetual grow!

The light came in today but i wasnt happy at all with the way they packaged it for shipping. I mean of all things make sure the power knob powering this $1,099.99 light is covered when your putting foam in the box yeah? Nope not in this case like its the only corner that DIDN’T have foam which was the most important corner to protect. Made a good size indent in the box and then they didnt send me a wall plug for it so i tested it with my other plug from the 4x8 lights to verify it at least worked. It did but this was the cheapest packaging ive ever seen with little to no care about if it really arrives in good shape. Not even double walled box or anything fancy and there was 2 strips of tape covering the middles on the whole box of cheap packing tape. The light works so i cant gripe too much but i did let the warranty lady know of my complaints and i dont think I’ll be buying anymore growers choice products moving forward because their customer support used to be so much better and i was just disappointed when opening this box like i get its refurbished but at least act like you care. Hopefully its not too much of an issue to get the power cord and be done with this warranty stuff

Just checked my email and im freaking floored by this. Yeah consider this a good way to lose a customer. As a courtesy they will send me the cord free of charge like its your mess up!

You want her to take off, stop stripping her for a moment

Well that was the plan a week or 2 ago before im like lets train more which led to certain branches dieing or looking funky and i didnt want to risk any stem rot traveling in the plant. I dont plan on doing anymore trimming to that plant its gonna be on “autopilot” now besides weekly ipm till bud start forming

I was able to fix my old cannafogger. It seems that there is a weak point where the bottle screws into the base and i have a habit of overtightening stuff and it blew out the plastic backing. I fixed the main part keeping it from working i assume but there is a line that goes from that screw in part to the atomizer that someone decided to manufacture in such a way that you have to have a s bend in the line and with that screw in part broken that s bend was all twisted up keeping it from pumping but you cant really fix that without putting in 90s or elbows so i just unbound the line and fought it to keep it from kinking in a s bend. Just poor manufacturing design tbh but i love the product and its functionality its just like once you start looking at stuff sometimes you wonder why they built it the way they do. Anyways with it being fixed i offered it for grabs and my buddy @ItsintheGenetics said he would take it and give it a try to see how he likes it since i was only asking shipping to be covered. Its just silly this is a $100 product and the most common area to break is the least reinforced. Besides laying it down with liquid in the bottle this has to be one of the most common reason their units break id imagine

Well the electric bill came in and i about shit a brick! Almost a $300 jump from last week and the ac is set on 74 degrees! I raised it to 76 now and tempted to go to 78. Sheesh this is getting out of hand!

Broo that’s so high! Sorry about that, that is straight up robbery

Dibs on the next broken cannafogger

That electricity bill is outrageous! How long is this heat supposed to last out there?

How many 1000W DE lights you running in there??? Sorry to see that amount though. Brutal.

My goodness.

Mine’s been nasty too lately. Not sure what I can do for relief.

Look into solar. It might not be the cheapest to get set up but you’ll save a ton of money in the long run. Some people have it set up where the county has to pay them instead because they generate more electric then they use

Im running 2 720w lights in the 4x8 with the portable ac unit, 480w in the mother tent, and a 420w in the 32x32x63. Not a single DE light tho @PatHealy. @TonesOwn i am in a rental so im not looking to invest any money into it and im not sure the landlord would let me anyways. I hope everyone is having a great morning and staying cool! Last day of the work week for me

Fuc& thats a big bill! Maybe dim the lights and move them closer to the canopy?
420w in a 32×32×63? Isn’t that too much light for the space? I run a SF.200w quantum board in the same space and get rock hard buds. easily light burn the plants if I’m not careful.
Just some thoughts.

My bills been up too @Grimley . Got HLG Scorpion and Blackbirds running, and I’m changing out a 65w Philzon for my HLG 100w. Trying to keep the fans to a minimum.
Can you change your timing of “lights on” to be to your advantage?

@Grimley Lmao! Yes yes it is sir! But its not at full blast. I havent checked UMOLS at canopy level but the tops arent burnt or anything so i know im not pushing it too hard at about 1 ft away and 75% intensity. The light was my old 4x8 light and then got moved to mother tent light and then i upgraded the mother tent to something more efficient and moved the light to the project tent and usually keep it set at 50% until later in flower. @crownpoodle my neighbor said that the state of MO signed a bill that recently went into effect raising the electric rates again because hes paying $430 a month and has a main floor and basement no upstairs or anything crazy electric sucking going on like a grow. Said his bill went up $200 or so from last month and i said well shit at least it not only me! Ive got my lights on as much of the off peak hours as i can per day so not mich else i can do. I raised the house ac to 78 and last night my daughter was whining nonstop dad its so hot like kid yes i know lmfao thats life tho. Good morning yall! I hope everyone is having a great day so far! I got a video update and i didnt get pictures today because i had to run to the dentist and book an apt fpr my chipped tooth. Freaking 2 weeks till they can get me in but like i was telling my wife id rather know they were booked than completely empty schedule and could immediately work with me. Anyways back to the update. The hella jelly mostly smell sweet at first then like dirty gym socks after (maybe 5 of them). There are the favorites of me and the wife that just smell ridiculously sweet and mostly like grape jelly with a hint of rotten fruit on the end (i believe there are only 3 me and my wife have our eyes on atm. #6 and #2 for sure). The rest are that rotten fruit super sweet smell. Id say #13 has the biggest buds and #2 is the tallest of the bunch. Day 29 of flower now and im starting to see a little bit of orange hairs here and there. I anticipate them to finish right on 45 days if not sooner as we’ve grown hella jelly a few times and shes always been true to the flowering time advertised. In the chemtk tent i had to take another clone of #1 for the mother tent. The clone just never took root and finally started looking a bit crappy so i tossed it out. Those chemtk in the 4x8 tho are killing it! #5 specifically is like 2x the size of the rest and im anticipating to flip to flower in the next 2 weeks if im gonna have room for these ladies. #1 was a bit too close to the heater and had 1 leaf looking funky so i kinda moved it a bit out of the way. Surprised the heater is even kicking on lol (set at 72-74). Sometime this week maybe even today ill actually transplant all thise hella jelly and chemtk clones because ive been getting far too lazy and left them in the coco cells to get rootbound and then setup bottom watering to encourage the laziness lmfao. Seriously tho i need to put them into the 4 in square pots i have because #3 (hella jelly) has been getting pissy with me and they’ve for sure been neglected as i try to keep them small and unattended to. Reason for 2 videos is because i tapped the back button or something during the first video when i got to the hella jelly tent and didnt want to learn how to edit them together today when i took another video

i hear you on the electric bill. mine is also very high when i have an indoor grow. it has forced me to only grow autos indoors during the winter. 2-3 month grow only, and out door in the summer. and the out door fall harvest is a crap shoot to see if it will finish before rotting or freezing. it sucks to loose 5-6 months of outdoor grow work if the harvest is a bust.
side benny for winter indoor is no a/c and the heat from the lights help heat my place as i grow in the basement.

strange but true. maine has tons of rivers / hydro electric capacity, but believe it or not central maine power [ a spanish owned company] buys our electricity that is generated in florida go figure @PatHealy. the electricity is exspensive then add in the delivery / transmission /and the fu fee’s and the price doubles. its beyond crazy. the power company could care less they have the only monopoly and are fat cats from it.
we need to bust them up like they did to ma bell telephone back in the day. us small guys always pay the price and seem powerless to get things changed to at least some form of normal.
it really pisses me off when people in other states show me their electric bill with a grow for like $100 or less.

hope things cool off soon so you can turn the a/c off.
