Howdy everyone. Ill be documenting my grow this year. Im in the high desert of los angeles county. I wanted to do a huge thing and dig huge holes and make living soil ect ect. But last November i was nailed by a huge 24k pound truck and screwed me up more than i already was lol. From brain damage and severe nerve damage to my only good side (had a major stroke almost 18 years ago) so yeah im looking at numerous surgeries on my back, neck, knee. Yeah yeah yeah nuf bout me. I have 12 clones, 8 i will be growing myself and the other 4 are for 2 buddies.
I have my “large” pots and will be redoing the soil and adding more ocean forest soil, goat and chicken manure along with bone and blood meal. I have well water as well. Im thinking of adding some oyster shell to my soil to possibly help with calcium. Thought’s on that?
Sorry to hear about that. Wish you recover as much as possible and as fast as possible.
Already pulled a chair to see this outdoor grow ![]()
Dang wish I could’ve got you some Kona Gold’s for this
Oyster shell is good. Its my preferred calcium amendment.
Sorry to hear about your accident. You won’t be alone here. Many of us are living a modified lifestyle. Glad your sharing your grow adventure with us! ![]()
I’m thinking nutrient feed program will be fine with what you have already you could go forever making a great soil up
They are in the pots had my nephew help me. I added oyster shell, crushed up mesquite charcoal worm castings blood and bone meal.
Heres a few updated pics. Almost all of my plants went into flower early. Luckily they went back into veg. Also my lovley dogs got into my garden and decided they love the herb lol. 1st pic was the day after they got in. 2nd pic was 2 weeks later and the last pic was from today
