Description:
If you have followed my work, I have used crosses of the Cherry Pie Kush in my strains over the years. Such as the High School Sweetheart Breath F2, F3, 36 Chambers, Etc. The CPK has been known to be one of the hardest cuts to grab in the industry. When Gage Green released it, I had to get a pack. I hunted 7 seeds and #4 was by far the best. Cherries, Sour, Cat Piss and Gas is what the terp profiles were. I used a male I called “Jake Lamotta” for this cross. He was a “Raging Bull” with beautiful lime Green and Purple flowers throughout. If you want some of the dankest of the dank you have to grab this legend. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks for the info, I actually know Jeff (keyplay) and I remember all the drama and insecurity, crazy how this stuff plays out, yet another reason the entire Cookie brand is absolute BS! Ugh, just complete theft and disrespect, ratting etc. 
what has this industry come to, that was also the beginning of the end for GGG , I once tested for them and had a good friend who helped them release a few stains he created as well. I was once completely obsessed with GGG and by the time Jeff and Fang split up I was completely disgusted. Sad that this happened to such an amazing company with absolutely stellar genetics.

why would people not be proud/disclose their great ideas which resulted in superior
plants? … or how come the “original makers” don’t even know the parental lines?
well, because they didn’t breed it themselves.
this is not the first time … and won’t be that last.
as long as people line up and pay, this will be done.

Cherry Pie Kush
Presumed lineage: Durban Poison x Chem D x Pakistan Chitral Kush(maybe Purple Urkle because of the OGKB throwback, which is a PU recessive)
Cherry Pie Kush is the original Cherry Pie and Cookies. Rumored to be a cross of multiple lines including Durban Poison, Chemdog and Paki Chitral Kush, the Cherry Pie Kush is a creation by George, who has chosen to remain out of the limelight. Originally from the East Coast, George brought old school gas and potency to the Emerald Triangle and amongst his projects was a clone-only called CPK or Cherry Pie Kush. Only a small circle of farmers hold this cut in the Emerald Triangle. Despite being one of the most exotic cuts to hit the scene in the past decade, the Cherry Pie Kush has a tendency to seed itself when the room is not perfectly dialed. This cut is a measuring stick for how well a grower grows. The story goes, one of the indoor rooms of Cherry Pie Kush had light leaks and the grower accidentally created some bagseeds. These bagseeds were selected by budtenders in San Francisco. These seeds were rebranded to Cherry Pie and Cookies and credit was taken from George.
I have yet to run the seeds Socal produced, but the flower I’ve seen look outstanding!

Dang…guess I better get ready to crack em then lol. Wish I could get my hands on one of the packs of pure cpkb instead of just the crosses but hopefully there will be a heavy leaning pheno in there.

Yeah I see what you mean, but what I understand is that George had other plants in the room together with CPK and that F1 Durb = CPK. So Berner and the boys initially three bags of weed bought CPK( aka F1 Durb), Flo ridah OG and GDP. Cookies the from the Flo ridah OG, Cherry Pie from the GDP and F1 Durb from the CPK. Then they tried to grown their own in the valley and here is where the herm fest begins. We have no clue what herm to what in their rooms but we know that a lot of seeded weed came from them and they seem to have continued to pop the herm seeds generation of generation until they established the current clones.
CPK is to cookies, what pure haze is to Amnesia Haze. Related, but we have ver low insights into the actual making of the popular lineages!
I bought them as soon as SoCal released them with the idea of working a alternative cookie line for breeding purposes, with more stable genetics and try to capture the essence that made cookie popular in the first place!
