When you transplant the down curled seedlings, check the roots for over watering damage. Have you ever let them dry out? The four on the right hand side.
They have dried out a couple of.times .
I was using a spray bottle once a day and it got.to.thr point o poured water in via a measuring cup.
Very possible. They have been runty since day 1. But I. Can see the droopy.leaves now
Looks like they are already adjusting to the new light
I looked at the roots today of cinder evil
They have a nice spindle going at the bottom !? So they are growing downwards lll just not up!!!
I assume the rest are also growing roots rather than leafs LOL… OH MY
I just threw down my last Blue berry as my last attempt was botched during surgery with its attached twin
Also Being germinated are two more OG / BUBBA KUSH from OJ- again . As the first ones I have growing are not growing well in my environment.
I am going to mix up a new batch of soil . Put in the party cups.i will water the soil and let it drain and dry and have ready for the seed.
Blueberry is pretty white looking.
I dont know why but all my three packs I bought came with one big dark seed. A medium Size medium dark seed an a smaller light coloured one.

Update nearing middle.of 5th week
Things getting frosty L.A. confidential the most! Sticky sticky
Ignoring any deficiencies…
Flowers looking nice. Funky deficiencies and cold temps maybe. I forgot.i set my light to 10% for pics last night and left it at that ! Woops
Also…my seedlings are FUCKED… I’m going to cull them all…they are over 3 weeks (25-28 days)old and are pitifull…just wasting electricity…sucks for the seeds …but I have to start over…not sure if the roots rotted or over watered them. But something is not right.
Please someone agree and aid me making the decision to cull and start over
Hola Gang
You hit it on the head
Too cold and way to much water
Your room for seedling need be
at least 25 celcius for grown plant
it can be lower.
The colder the less they drink
also are you using city water
or well seems to me there is
a bit much of mineralisation
at the top of the dirt.
Bare
Thank you for addressing my questions.
I don’t know why I thought soil needed to be moist. The last time I grew from seed was in summer so that may have helped with temperatures.
I will mix a fresh batch of dry soil and just spray the tops .
Eager to get some new plants growing.
I think it will be compassion towards the plants to cull them . Unfortunate but necessary.
City water
Edit
They all have roots growing . But not up taking any nutrients maybe . . I can try and save them but I will be starting some new.
I have some peat pellets/pods jiffy pods.
I am going to try putting the next batch of seeds in those.
grab the crappiest looking seedling and give it a gentle tug. If it rips out of the ground with no real roots, you have your answer.
What has changed from your last run? Soil? pots?
Those are the smallest ‘three weekers’ I’ve seen.
As per Bare and Joe, definitely over-watering but there must be root issues as well to keep them that small.
Cheers

@Gpaw
Soil- my friend gave me on last run - his pre made soil. had worm castings in it. Other than that i have the same now but just BX promix and added perlite.
Not sure what’s going on. I had a heating pad for the first few days after the seeds broke soil.
I started them with crappy blurples but I am pretty sure they would have grown after wards.
I can see lots of roots developing in the soil if I dig on the sides of Pot with finger (not lots but there are roots ). Also I have taken one out to transplant and they had lots of roots coiling at the bottom
I don’t remember soaking my soil this much last time. I have drenched it for some reason. That’s all I can think that would be the problem. But they did dry out a couple of times.
Should I try some in the jiffy pellets ? Soaked in ph water ?
Over water is no good for the seeds
Soak in shot glass 12 to 24 hr
Paper towels damp in ziplock plastic bag
Tails come out into promix with extra perlite
I use promix and a spray bottle , spray daily maybe 2 x’s under a dome and a heat pad
Also could need to sand the shell to help it along
Or crack the shell gently
Some people freeze over night before the soak in shots glass
I recommend adding a few drops of Hydrogen peroxide added to the soak in the shot glass helps with older seeds
Thanks papalag
I know it seems like you have repeated these instructions to me 3x now! I am a slow learner LOL
But eventually I catch on . .
I am going to proceed with your instructions now as I have selected some older seeds. 2009-2017 .
(Do you consider that older to add the peroxide?) Also to begin storing for long term? I have a cold concrete basement spot i can use. If necessary I will add a beer fridge to my rec room - lol. I don’t drink but I’m sure some soda go in
Sorry bud I’m repeating myself
Only trying to help
If there old I would freeze for 24 hr
Lightly sand to scar shell
Soak in tap water with a splash of hydrogen peroxide
Then damp paper towel wrapped in a zip lock till tap root is about 1/4 inch
Then soil
If you use the peat pods squeeze out all excess water leave damp use spray bottle to control the amount of water you’ll use
I’ve been looking at the worm castings method I may try it next round
I placed these in water about 7 pm last night all where still floating I taped them down and all sank to the bottom but 1 so just in case it’s a dud I added another
If they float all the time it’s a good chance it’s a dud
I also put the seeds over my tv cable box for a little heat not too much as to dry it out just enough to keep them cozy
I use this plastic container with sponge inside it helps to wick off excess water and fits on my tu cable box and builds humidity which help the process I feel
Soil bags I use also
Just my 2 cents
Hopefully it helps

No no not repeating in a bad way on your end. I meant as In im asking same questions. Over and over and you are patiently dealing with me hahah
I actually have been putting mine over the Rogers box too
Thanks man. . .eventually I will be able to offer someone else these instructions.
Many thanks .
This is what works for me
Some people say just put in soil only I never had luck doing that and at 5 to 10 dollars us a seed hell you want to make sure they work lol
And everyone tweaks the method to suet themselves
Always learning doing this thing we do !
It takes time to learn our craft it may just be a weed we grow but there’s a lot to learn to grow It right
The most important thing is to have fun at it
It always a challenge I find
And most important of pass on the information to all in need
This is what the cannabis community is all about
At least as I was brought up in it help you fellow growers and share the knowledge

I use a pretty similar method myself… it usually works. I put mine in a damp paper towels between two plates so it’s a bit darker, then put them on a heating pad with a temperature controller and keep it at ~80F/28C. Lately I’ve also sanded them before putting them in the towel, since GLG included a convenient photo negative tube with sandpaper inside along with my order. I don’t soak them, it doesn’t seem necessary other than to sort out the non-viable ones because they float… and it’s possible for the seedlings to drown, if the soaking goes too long. They get wet enough in the paper towel.
I’ve had 100% success rate with this for a few years before, though that might be changing soon - I’ve got two Black Cream auto seeds in there now that still haven’t cracked in 6 days. Eventually I’ll have to give up and declare them dead, I suppose… when they start molding, if nothing else. I’ve popped a few more into the towels in the meantime, might as well get those pots full rather than empty.
So I’ve been doing pretty good with germination
No issue is getting them to grow after seedling stage LOL I am just out now and didn’t fully read your post . I will review it shortly
I’ve been using heavily damp and wet soil as in I watered the soil 100% . And then planted the germ seeds in the wet soil. For future I am going to just take the dry soil and spray the top I guess or possibly put all the soil flat out on a tray and spray it to make it a little dance and then mix it in
I just did this and they all have strong resistance… I am going to bin them anywya but. I will take some photos now to aid in further diagnostics
