They breed real huggers over at Spideyponics haha
Buddhas Cane also shares the large/wide leaf structure
They certainly love to be affectionate. Give them hugs and whisper sweet nothings into their ears.
Alright…they are all back in the tent now lol.
But flower tent is ready …
What do we think …
Should I start flowering the two females ?
They are pretty small … Maybe i can just use then as mother’s and take clones…
@ReikoX - how do you feel about pruning /defoliating during early veg ? I would say they are well into there 3rd week…
Leave em alone? Lol
Wondering if I should start clipping a few big leafs ?
If you need airflow or are trying to keep the plant small, then go ahead and prune a vegging plant.
Will defoliating slow down growth of the plant?
Or would pruning /cutting limbs be more of a term to use - that would slow growth?
Yes all of the above will slow growth a bit.
Germinating some seeds from my Christmas stash!
Trying some older ones again 2009 MIGHTY MIKE F2
AND Larry O.G. 2020 (white ones)
Edit
I split the plants up again… I was able to get second tent between 24-27 c . Going to start flowering in it over next few days. Just need to bring the exhaust from veg tent into flower at lights out.
Lol common mars hydro . It in New Brunswick already. I think it might make it for this week .
No tails yet on seeds.
Playing musical chairs with plants again hahahah…ffs
Wish I could identify the males now lol
Really considering open pollination
If I don’t see balls by the time new light gets here I am flipping both tents and throwing in some autos …lol
Only one that looks sad now is the yogurt containers. I think I over watered.
Gave up on the clones, they wilted within first 16 hours lol…I forgot to cycle the heating pad .and probably too much water in medium I placed jiffy pellet in
Edit…I got bored and did some pruning
I clone in a rubbermaid full of water.
Just want to say thank you for the consistent helpful posts !
Very selfless
Thank you
Dang it !!! Sorry everyone… back in the same tent LOL…
I couldn’t justify the extra 100-200watts lol…
All back in one tent… defoliation and upped the ventilation…
I know. I know I know. I crazy.

Ooooof. Had great germ rates on 2009 mighty Mite and Larry og
Just put them in soil ! In the tent some where new light was supposed to be here today but it’s tomorrow now which is fine.
I think the plants need to be up potted they haven’t shown their sex yet to me no balls … I don’t think they are deficient I think they are a little bit angry about root space. However the one in the yogurt is growing a little bit taller.
The ones in the 7 gallon pots that I assume were females aren’t growing taller just getting bushier and thicker I don’t know why my plants don’t grow tall .
I also did a defoliation last Thursday maybe and I think I stressed them out a bit because the were all super happy green.
second photo after the seedlings is female 100%. Right before the first group shot, those two photos look male. I see a leaf bract.
Just wondering if that should be 2009 Mighty Mites I have 2009 Mighty Mite seeds from @Mongobongo
Could be !! I thought at first they were Night thyme lol but closer inspection it was a M so quite possibly Mighty Mites! . Mine are from a certain rare Canadian
