Chimera 3 10K Reversal

I am finally getting around to reversing this cut,Ive had it for a little over 2 years now got it off Strainly. She’s very resilient and has survived in some chaos a few times without water for 2 weeks, high heat, crazy winds, she just blows up no matter what I try to do. I planned on reversing her awhile back but got in a loop of sorts making regs. Excited for this.

I popped a pack of Chimera 3 S1s, 6 seeds i think. It wasn’t enough seeds to find a winner, all but 1 were heavily mutated. Funny enough though, one of the mutants, with pinky tip sized top colas, was by far the strongest flower I have smoked. On exhale, there was immediately no doubt, crazy stupid potent. All 8 grams of it lol.
Definitely seemed like there was magic in the genes, I just didn’t find one. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you, bet you find something killer.

I appreciate that! It’s looking great right now,My only worry is I have only reversed 1 other female I tend to stick with reg crosses. Im wondering if I should keep spraying? Ive heard mixed responses,Some says stop after 5 sprays, others say spray until right before they open.

Thank You! Ill be sharing these beans if there’s enough to go around,as well as pollen.! I will post a finalized list later of whats being pollinated.

I will gladly share beans once its all situated/ready! Yes she is potent,I smoke to much and start laughing like crazy which usually doesnt happen with anything I toke on. I made 150mg/1 edis…WOW. This C3 10k cut is the Strongest, most resistant, resilient cut I’ve had,20+ other cuts died off when I was away for 3 weeks last year,I retuned to Chimera 3 cuts dangling in my aero cloner that was drier then the Sahara desert, when this happened I immediately made notes and kept her around/alive. Though there is Alot of controversy/drama with the breeder I watched/listened to the plant She has big, sandy trich heads(great for washing imo) does take a little longer to flower,as well as does better in coco from what I saw,I ran it in DWC and it foxtailed super heavy. Heres a picture of some flower I pressed with no bag,It suprised me.

I’ve never reversed anything plants, so I don’t know the answer. I’m sure someone will chime in with an answer

No chime in whomp whomp…haha Im going to stop spraying just to be safe,I don’t want to overdo it and then the sacs don’t open or something,I did the whole plant from what I have read shes quite the dumper as well as all the crosses I have seen from her,That would lead me to believe Ill end up like santa with pollen after this knock on wood, pray to the canna gods.

Chimera 3 10K Day 27 Flower. All in 1 Gal pots of straight coco. Under the C3(Bottom of the tent) there is 2 4 Plays-Bodhi,Another Frozen Bag,C3 10K,Iceberry Gary,Grimm Truffles. I through doubles in to be sure I had enough time either way. Sorry I haven’t updated this as much as I’d like to,getting to my favorite stage so there will be updates every 2-3 days.

We have lift off. Iceberry Gary is definitely pollinated a bit already.

Frozen Bag my keeper corner is pollinated. I’ll be beating the C3 everyday when I’m in there….no pun intended.

STS Schedule used Sebrings method but I mix right before use.
Day 1/Flip then every 5 days after
Day 6F
Day 11F I injected 0.2ml Silver Nitrate on this day to see what would happen.
Day 18F I sprayed one last time which I definitely didn’t need to…data for next time. Thanks to those following.

Did you notice a difference with the injected Silver Nitrate?

Tbh this is the first time I’ve reversed C3 so I have no data to pull from. I sprayed from the day I flipped worried it wasn’t going to be enough. I do think the injection helped from what I can see. I’ll be testing just injection next round and will be sure to update here so that we have both to look at and compare.

Alright,Judging by those photos of the donor,is it to early to start picking off branches or? Sacs are purple here and there now. I have been whacking the hell out of her everyday in hopes I get an even pollination. I checked just now and it looks like it’s the outter edge closest to the donor that is pollinated on both plants, but if you move a little further away white as can be. I did take my exhaust and blow the C3 around, the2 near it now have pure orange stigmas(3x what they looked like 2 days ago) I want to also save pollen for future use just wondering when would be a good time to start chopping a few branches,or how long do you guys leave you donors in there? I’m cool with it hanging around but also want to make sure I don’t miss the “collect” window.

I pick off the most ripe ones every day and let them dry a bit before putting them through a screen to get the pollen. Reversed pollen can be harder to collect. Best of luck :v:

This is cool ! Following. Im growing some Chimichanga right now I believe it’s GMO darkhart cut x 10k pretty awesome

This one STINKS. The whole tent is over powering most plants and it makes my whole house smell if. I don’t close the door.

Thank you for your reply! So would picking off the ripe sacs be a better idea vs cutting whole branches? I do make sure to smack the branches above all the receivers just to be sure any loose pollen is used wisely. But I also want to save some for future use,I have had great success using pollen that has been in the freezer for 5-6 years.

I have had the Iceberry Gary cut for quite some time,I was sent a few different “strawberry” leaners,The IG won by a long shot. I’m just now flowering her after 8 months maybe longer. If I would have known she stacks so nice, great SOG style growth I would have flowered her long ago. I plan on doing a few different “challenges” here soon. I am hunting through a bunch of solo cups rn if they don’t have a stem rub that makes me go woooah what is that immediately usually I toss them, the only thing that makes me keep them around a little longer in hopes they get a nose is structure. If they have no nose and bad structure….bye haha

For revesed stuff I take the extra time to pick ripe and do it that way opposed to cutting a branch and collecting pollen, though I do this with a normal male. Only because I find reversed stuff can be more sticky and harder to collect. Ive gotten more pollen doing the picking with reversed, so just do it that way personally. Many ways to skin a cat per say. Find what works before for you

Wow didn’t expect you to even see this, let alone share thanks for that! I definitely appreciate it! I 100% agree with you already just by me being in there tonight, the question that I kept asking myself…people really do this all the time as in fems. Not that I don’t like a task but when your dealing with a big lady like she is it’s like never ending,I got out my tweezers and started picking off the ones I thought were mature(purpling, slightly open) as well as some of the bigger sacs. I noticed what your saying(not getting much by cutting a whole branch) I got double just off a few sacs vs beating a whole branch into my trim tray,I am also picking the whole plant up and beating her over the receivers it looks funny but gotta do what ya gotta do,I want to reverse her once and have pollen for a bit that way I have room for other projects. I am also learning to just take my time there’s no need to rush anything I have a small space it really doesn’t matter what I do it’s still going to be a small space haha. I have a few Sour D,Chem crosses I need to get in there soon.
