Ahhhh fuuuuuck. Chocolate no!!
Why this happens to chocolate and not to quinoa?
This is not fair for those of us who do not take care of our regime.

Well we all are serving life sentences.
Nobody gets out alive anyway.
So eat, drink, stay as happy as you can, as something gets everyone sooner or later.
Living fearful, reduces your time on the Rock.

I canā€™t eat chocolate anymore. I believe they put dirt in it and sawdust. The lead probably gives it a good taste.

From what NPR was saying itā€™s dark chocolate, and it varies widely by brand.

Thankfully I donā€™t like dark chocolate.

I started eating a lot of fruit. I started feeling bad. Something just wasnā€™t right. And then I felt like I was having some type of allergic reaction. I quit eating it. The problems went away.

I knew something was up with chocolate. I would say probably about eight years ago. I started having problems. My body wouldnā€™t digest it. Every time I eat chocolate I get hemorrhoids.
I was having the same problems with spices.

Well, Iā€™ve probably had 4 oz of Hershey milk chocolate per day for a couple years so thatā€™s enough

The other sneaky thing I think they do is diluting the almonds with peanuts ā€œmay contain traces of peanutsā€ etc  should swap those nuts :joy:

iā€™ve heard itā€™s slightly sweet and similar to citrus.

edit: another thought i had was about history repeating itself. anyone recall what heavy metal was attributed to the fall of rome? anyone?

I could be wrong but in most cases I think they say that because they process other chocolate bars that do contain peanuts (intentionally) on the same machinery and peanuts are a common allergen?

Almonds can also be an allergen, but I think maybe tree nut allergies and peanut allergies donā€™t always track together (though someone could be allergic to both)?

Man am I glad I donā€™t have any food allergies (that I am aware of).

:smirk: Iā€™m suggesting theyā€™re ā€œcuttingā€ the product with a cheaper analog

It also turns out that the lead Iā€™ve been consuming is high in chocolate.

They were using lead pipes.
There were some studies in the 70ā€™s that went into the health details.

What we eat will kill us.
I mean what they serve us to eat will kill us.
That doesnā€™t sound like the nursery rhymes does it.
One more time.
We are what we eat! Iā€™m dying to laugh at that one.
