Thought i would start me a grow journal here just to have a place for other’s to check out in the future.
I won’t be getting serious on my grow until i start my fall run with cap junky and godfather og with grease monkey and alien cookie.
I will also be making me some regular and feminized seeds for my use on later runs.
Right now i got one plant im playing with that i have grown for a couple of year’s now and its a finicky one to get threw veg, its a cross i make which is deathstar x jedi glue and does produce nice bud’s.
As far as my growing i have been growing for over 40 years in ohio and im running 2 mammoth mint white 880 watt lights and use master blend 3 parts for my nutrients and use air pots with promix and sometimes i will do a coco coir run but not to so often.

Just put up one of these lights a couple days haven’t got to put it to use yet how are you liking them? my first bar led been using a HLG 600 R spec before that

They work very well, I’ve did two run with them while frist run was 4 Afghai plants that produced over 3 pounds of cured bud’s and just finished up a cap junky x C99 three plants and harvested over 3 pounds of cured bud’s.
I got a journal on MP in the grow journal under clearsky from start to finish if you go there you can see how they perform but you will be happy with the mammoth mint lights.

How was that junky x c99? Hopefully the Cinderella sweetened it up a little. Every time I have tried the junky it has been stale kinda corn flake terps but I have yet to run it myself so maybe the thumb on em wasn’t quite right. Looked great though but it’s kinda hard to fuck these new poly hybrids up bag appeal wise

I myself don’t smoke anymore because what the doctor has me on, so i just grow for my wife and about 4 friends and they all found it to be a smoke that after 4 hits they are good and thats from a joint, use a bowl and i think it would be two toke smoke.
Had one friend say it had a mocha taste which i dont even know what that mines unless he was talking about coffee but they all like the taste.

I’m also in Ohio and on the lookout for Deathstar genetics to add to my tent. This is a very interesting cross I’m going to keep my eyes on. Where did you come by these or did you make them yourself?

I made the cross and i can say it does not go thru veg very well, i can sprout 15 seeds and most start out ok then they start to claw and draw in like being over watered or a nitrogen toxicity which isn’t any of those things. But is what happens and they stop growing, some will only grow two inches and start stacking the nodes with no growth and purple on underside of leafs as if the temperatures are cold which they aren’t.
That’s why the plant you see growing will be the last one i grow.
Only thing I can think of is the jedi glue has been out for a few years in regular seeds and you can’t get it in a feminized seed but i did do a sts on it to get my female pollen to produce it, but when you do get a good one it does make some nice bud’s. Here’s how many seeds I have left of it and if you want to pm me i will send them to you for free, the only tip i can give you is if the leaves start to turn down cull it and don’t waste your time with it, i have played with it for a few years and could put some pictures up of her.
Also the seeds are very hard so soaking them 24 hours then put in napkin in tupperware bowl they all will sprout for you.

I’m excited to see ya get into the seed making. Especially the CJ. I’ve yet to find a more complete strain that checks all the boxes and CJ certainly fits that bill.
I know you don’t care much for clones but your just a few hours drive from me and I can see us swapping some clones for breeding. I’d be willing to provide some anytime ya need them. I have very nice CJChem91 and CJ clones ready anytime. Soon I’ll have some CJ SourBubble clones available.
I’ll be running some Chunky Junky real soon as well. A creation by @BigMike55 of CJ and Blue Tara. She gets pretty fat.
I believe @JanBorrego is growing the Ocifer strain which is CJ and Rosetta Stone. RS wouldn’t have been my first choice in a CJ cross but we will see what she comes up with.
Yes making some very potent some is the key and i think the cap junky is the strain to work with.
In my opinion they used the alien cookie x kush mints to make her and i know they went through hundreds of plants to get the cut they wanted, but im going to take my cap junky and hit her with my reg kush mints so i can get regular seeds which to me will be a regular seeds cap junky just not the one made by there cut.
Then i will be able to get me a cap junky male from regular pollen to hit the godfather og and grease monkey

Here’s pictures of clones from the deathstar x jedi glue which they were very vibrant in growing but i culled them because i wanted to do a seed run.
Beans are in mail and heading to you and i hope you fined a keeper but she drove me nuts during veg at times. But not the clones they grew very well.

I just received my silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate yesterday for making the feminized pollen, i do believe making these crosses definitely want the female to be CJ so the crosses will always start with CJ xx which I will do the godfather og and the grease monkey and they will be feminized seeds on those two crosses.
The recipe i got works so well you only got to spray one branch once and it does not burn the leaves at all, so when I make it a lot of it goes to waste.
The recipe i got is.
1- gram silver nitrate to 1000 ML RO water
5- grams thiosulfate to 1000 ML RO water
Then you add a extra 2000 ML RO water to delute it down.which gives you 4000 ML of sts, also you add the silver nitrate to the sodium thiosulfate while mixing it as you pour it in to your container.
But all of this is months down the road so i need to fined something to do in the mine time. Will have to think about it 
.

Here’s results from my mixture. Also @greenmonster714 when I do get seeds i will send you some for free just going to take a little patience to get to my goals.
