Some golden ticket clones I rooted in rapid roosters.

And my diy aero cloner that makes a big mess.

I find the aero cloner less maintence intensive

This is very interesting

This is very close to my method, although I love the idea of the iso wipe, every once in a while I’ll get a touch of fuzzy white mildew if I cram too much !

@JustANobody i need to start marking my individual clones like that.

This is the way. FYI - cut up vinyl mini blinds make great plant tags and they are usually easy to find. I’ve been using them for plant labels for every, for years.

No kidding!! Thats an epic idea! Thank you bro :pray:t3:

I have two rules here, once a clone gets shoes it also gets a hanging plant tag. I ALWAYS DOUBLE TAG PLANTS. One in the dirt and one on the plant

If a plant doesn’t have a tag, or I think that I mixed them up, they go straight into the garbage can. I have zero tolerance for errors. It’s hard to do, especially when they are very nice looking healthy clones

I took some time in my lab and recreated one of my favorite solutions not made anymore. I will still use plain-ass Clonex if I run out or am too lazy to make a batch.

Last night I made 600ml. LOL

Nice! @SCJedi. I buy the salts iba and naa, I use ro or distilled. I make it 10k ppm then dilute when I use it. Nothing like saving $, and a good learning experience.

I made my own aero too lol it can make a mess but definitely works

I choose to clone in summer.
Temps speed it up.
Usually I just powder up the cut
Put in a jiffy and put them in their dome
Set on a widow sill that gets lots of ambient
Light, no direct sun
And in 5 days or so
Roots.

I just bought 100 Clear luggage bag tags and lanyards for $25. I’ve used cut up solo cups, I’ve bought plastic markers, wood markers, etc…and they all can cause problems.
They fall out, you forget to move them when you up-pot, the wooden ones rotted outdoors, etc.
NO MORE
Upside, my plants will be readily identifiable, start to finish.
Downside, they’ll all look like they’re attending a convention.

How long can cuttings last in the fridge? I’ve read some accounts that say they can go for several months in ziplock bags if you take them out once a month and rinse them. Also read that people send them through USPS.

And truth to all this? Any of you folks do this?

Here’s my method for sending snips in an envelope @Lobstah . :+1:

Also,I’ve successfully kept cuts in my 38-39° F fridge for 5 months so far. Didn’t take em out to rinse or anything. But I did dunk em in a weak alcohol bath before storage.

That’s great the longest I’ve kept cut in the fridge was 55 days

Have you tried longer? I want to test it out more.

No I have not, but I’ll be testing this out again
I got out of the regular opening the bags and making sure they were dry it was all user error lol :joy:

I know that when we store lettuce in the fridge, after it’s been chopped up for salad, we always put a papertowel in the ziplock. It really helps keep the lettuce from going bad.
Wonder if the same thing would help here?
