Welcome to my grow journal of Bodhi’s Chem91 x SSDD. I am extremely honored and excited to be given the opportunity for this. I am a member of a Bodhi reproduction group lovingly referred to as the “Bodhi Apocalypse Vault”, and after Bodhi gave us a little shoutout in his recent Pot Cast interview, a member was able to get in contact, and the man himself was kind enough to send us some packs to reproduce and spread into the community.
The game plan is pretty simple, Im gonna veg them out bigger than usual, so I can make sure I get plenty of seed for folks, as well as a good amount to send back to B. As soon as I got approval for the coop, I did my standard seed popping SOP on them. Which is 1 minute in 3% hydrogen peroxide, then another minute or so in some fresh compost tea right out of the brewer. Then into rapid rooters in a 1020 tray with a dome on a heat mat until they start popping. I popped seeds in soil for many years, but recently my small motor skills have been less than stellar, so the rooters helps keep the babies happy after transplanting for me.
As soon as they pop, Im going to put them up into some pre-prepped 4 inch fabric nursery pots with my reused soil mix of coco/peat/perlite amended with 50/50 Pride Lands Veg/ Espoma Garden Tone, and a little extra oyster shell to help buffer some calcium, since I know 91 crosses tend to eat calcium like crazy. Then theyll get light daily waterings, and 2x a week dose of fresh compost tea and 10-15 ml/gal of Buddha Grow until they reach a foot or so, then into bigger pots to bush out.
