Got a real exciting update this round. All the plants have shown sex, so all the females except 1 kinda runty one have been potted up to 5s, and 1 was put in a 7. Ran outta 5s, but no biggie. The males will stay in the pots theyre already in, and also got another round of heavy defoliation to help them focus energy towards good top branches, as well as hopefully not creating a blizzard of pollen.

its only been dark cycle for about 30 minutes, and theyre already back in the tent. So at this point its more smooth sailing until the dudes start getting close to kicking pollen. Then theyll go outside into my little popup greenhouse, and Ill bring out the ladies. Put on some Marvin Gaye. And let em get it on.
Here’s the dudes after their defol

And here’s the ladies right after getting potted up. Theyre all still growing like crazy, so Im hoping to get a good bit more growth, especially with the potting up treatment right as theyre just starting to show pre sex.

@IndicaDominanT Much appreciated! I do supercrop a bunch if in trying to bush them out. Basically try to get the upper branches down to where the lower ones are every 4-5 days or so. Basically once theyre back up, they get another round. However, once I put them into 12/12, I dont mess with em, aside from defoliation. Hope this help clear it up!

It’s been an exciting week watching these plants go bonkers with new growth. All plants are heavily showing sex, and still jumping like crazy. Got a couple already waist high, and still growing a few inches daily.

I can already spot the big 91 leaning pheno and a more squat pheno, exactly like in the Neroli91 F1s. I called the little ones “wookie leaners” but it’s looking like theyre more Appalachia/Chem D leaners seeing how similar they are. Ive grown a buncha Chem D stuff, even had the clone way back when. And they for sure look like dead ringers.

It’s tough to get good individual shots amidst the chaos of the tent, but here’s my best effort lol

They are really moving now!!!

Oh yes! Theyre taking to the bigger pots wonderfully. I know the strip’n’flip can scare people at first. But the results don’t lie lol

They’ve grown nicely in just 6 days, really bushy!

Thanks a bunch everyone! I really appreciate the support. Always makes my day when I see how much positivity and kindness on here.

Well, spring is finally springin, and things are going great on this repro. Things have been really fun to watch the last week. Everything is still jumping/really kicking into flower. I feel like I should note, just like with Neroli91, these are doing about 75% squat pheno, and 25% or so of the big jumpy 91 dominant pheno. When I play with my Neroli line I lovingly call it the “Big Dog” pheno.

There’s 1 female and 1 male that are that pheno 100%. The female is measuring just about 30 inches tall for some perspective. They seem like they’ll cola up and have a better structure than the similar one in Neroli. It looks like if I didn’t seed it out, it would make some massive colas. Not to take anything from the more squat ones. They all have great smells coming off them. I’ve been told it’s the best smell off a live plant ever lol. Very earthy chem, but a cool bright note that pairs wonderfully. Ill be sure to snap better pics once I pull em all from the tent.

As for the dudes, I had to pull them out in a panic at 1am the night before last while peeking in the tent before bed. The “Big Dog” dude I stuffed in the corner of the 5x5 had a couple little spots already dropping a little pollen. So I used my trusty spray bottle, soaked him down, and pulled him outta the tent into my lil greenhouse. I also ended up having to cull a super runty dude. I normally try to keep every plant I can for F1 OPs. However, it was just starting to put on pollen sacks, and was easily 2-3 weeks behind all the others. So he died a dignified death for the greater good.

Next I’ll pull the ladies out into the yard to get pollinated. Most likely in a week or less at this point. I like to make sure all the males are dropping before bringing out the ladies to let the magic happen. Then after that it should be smooth sailing until the seeds are nice and ripe.

Alright party people, we’ve officially reached the point of pollinating these beautiful ladies. The biggest female was almost hitting the light in the tent, and not a moment too soon. I pulled everything out, gave them a good leaf strip and top dressing/buddha/tea treatment. I should also mention I don’t switch the feeding to flower nutes on seed plants. I just keep hitting them with the veg mixes to make sure the seeds get plenty of energy to make seeds. Stole that trick from CSI, but it really helps stuff not wanna fade out before the seeds are nice and ripe since Im using all natural and organic inputs, and I can’t force feed quite as well as if I was running synth.

Then I popped them in my greenhouse amongst the males and under a janky old UFO style LED turned on for a few hours in the morning and evening when they’re not getting direct sun, just to make sure those seeds are getting enough DLI. I shook the dudes out pretty good yesterday(good enough for an allergy attack lol), but Ill redo it until I can see everything is good and fully seeded and cull the males. Then I’m going to use that trick Bodhi mentioned in his recent Pot Cast episode, and let them finish outside under that wonderful California sun.

This tip of still feeding the plants with veg nutes sounds really nice! Hope everything goes great there and you get a good number of seeds!! This cross is a great one! Good job there!

I haven’t had time to listen to that one yet, I’ll have to check it out soon! Does that also just help the seeds finish better?

I wouldn’t say better or worse. More about saving indoor flower space and not having to use lights as much. Here’s a really cool article that covers the same concept in detail under the name speed breeding. It’s a big game changer to be able to use the full outdoor season, vs just doing 1 outdoor reproduction a year.

Just a quick n dirty update here. The females are looking just about fully pollinated. Since going out to the greenie, I have been shaking the hell out of the males daily, and letting the pollen fly. I plan to shake em all out one last time today, then cull the dudes and let the ladies rock out.

I should mention the smells coming off them are downright fantastic. Very Chem91 heavy odors, mixed with a cool bright almost fruity smell on the smaller ones. I should note that the really big one is the most pure-chem in smell, just like what I experience with growing out Neroli91s. Except they look like they’d but on really big colas vs the Neroli which is more of a super-sized 91 structure.

Also, since my last update, Ive updated my light to a bar style 4 foot light that covers all the plants much more consistently. Its currently running about 3 hours in the morning, and 3 hours in the evening when they don’t get direct sun to help make sure they’re getting enough DLI. In the past 3-4 days, I’ve also rigged up a simple 4 inch outtake fan at the top of the greenie with venting to the outside to make sure there’s no hot still air building up during the day. Within an hour of first installing it, it dropped the temps about 10 degrees, so it seems to be working very well so far.

From here, the plan is keep them juiced with Pride Lands Veg and lots of oyster shell flour to keep that calcium deficiency from popping up until the seeds are nice and ripe.
