Hello everyone! I am a plant that lives in a closet.

Welcome to the day one of the Closet 420 Television Season 5 grow journal. This is our fifth indoor organic grow season. This is a small and simple setup contained in a 36"x20"x63" grow tent. This season we have four plants, which includes a combination of both auto flowering and photo period sensitive. We are excited to have, for the first time, auto flowering plants in the tent!

Plant 1: Auto - Seed - Mephisto Unknown Strain (packaging strain identification label missing)
Plant 2: Auto - Seed - Mephisto Unknown Strain (packaging strain identification label missing)
Plant 3: Photo – Seed – Blue Haze (bag seed)
Plant 4: Photo – Seed – Wedding Cake (bag seed)

Plant 1: 10 grow days
Plant 2: 10 grow days
Plant 3: 20 grow days
Plant 4: 35 grow days

Current light cycle: Vegetative 18-on / 6-off

Closet 420 Television grow journal entry for May 29th, 2021.

We have some interesting news. The provider of Plant 3, the Blue Haze clone, has informed us that this plant is not a clone, but from seed. I questioned the provider about the plants generally ‘floppy’ attributes and they assured us, this was the natural genetics of the plant.

Plant 2 - Auto Mephisto, was about to be disowned due to a lack of growth progress, although this sprout appears to currently be growing at a typically rate. Please keep in mind that these are the first auto flowering plants, I have attempted to grow.

On June 11th, 2021 the plants of Closet 420 Television, celebrate the plantaversary of our first plant-centric live stream!

Plant 1 - Auto Mephisto, is no longer believed to be an auto flowering plant, even though the seeds came from the same container as Plant 2. Plant 2 is definitely an auto flower plant.

The micro camera is held in place by an improvised mount produced from a clip light and a small mirror on a flexible spring arm.

The components do not fit together perfectly because the ball on the flexible spring arm is smaller than the original mounting ball on the clip light. Thus, I have to turn the mounting hardware to a 90 degree angle before I can tighten the clamp down completely. You could place tape or some other adhesive strip around the ball mount to increase the diameter of the ball.

The flexible spring arm is mounted to a tent support pole using two hose (radiator) clamps.

Closet 420 Television grow journal entry for June 26th, 2021, grow day 32.

We clearly have a variety show on season 5! Plant 4, the Wedding Cake bag seed shot straight up, not out, at all. Plant 1, a supposed auto flower, is rather skinny, looking more like a desert plant on the horizon. Plant 2, a actual auto flower, is coming right along. Plant 3, the Blue Haze appears to be the only ‘normal’ looking plant in the closet. Anyone think Plant 4 is male?

Closet 420 Television grow journal entry for July 2nd, 2021, grow day 38.

On July 1st, 2021 the plants of Closet 420 Television, celebrate the modification of state law allowing four closet plants to exist per household!

We definitely have a variety of plants in the closet. Plant 1 - Auto Mephisto has height although a lack of foliage. Plant 4 - Wedding Cake Bag Seed basically looks like an old television antenna. We suspect Plant 4 to be a male plant.

Closet 420 Television grow journal entry for July 9th, 2021, grow day 46.

Flowering time has came to the closet. Strange things have began to occur.

Plant 1 is now a very skinny plant, branches everywhere.
Plant 2 is definitely some type of auto flower. It may not be a cannabis plant, although it is an auto flower something.
Plant 3 is the only genetically typical plant in the closet.
Plant 4 has became a Swiss chard plant. I shall name it Celery. Maybe later I will salt and consume it.

Hello everybody!

Closet 420 Television grow journal entry for July 16th, 2021, grow day 53.
Flowering time continues as does strange things.

Plant 1 appears to be a very skinny male plant. As soon as the plants sex is determined as male, the plant will be asked to leave the closet.

Plant 2 being the first and only true auto flower plant in the closet, is doing very well to grow in the shadow of taller photo sensitive plants.

Plant 3 has quickly became the star of Season 5. This plant has already produced female sexual characteristics!

Plant 4 commonly known as the Celery Plant, appears to be a female plant, that will produce about two flowers…
