@Kavman Plants are looking stellar
Damn @kavman grow is looking so freaking good, glad it is turning out so well . Some high quality seeds should be produced for sure.
What kinda country are you playing? Is it like ole Hank

@Kavman you ever set this up with a microphone? I tried it once and now it’s only in my vocals chain
Don’t see an image there @Pigeonman so not sure. But you have me curious now.
Wow have times changed
All I use to use was my les paul , a twin reverb with an ice cube and
A echo plex ( tape loop ) and a fuzz buster and of course a Wawa pedal
Love the box set up
I would throw my gear in a back pac lol
Had a case like that for my 335 semi hollow body it was a great case but foam degraded
Paps
I hear ya in keeping it simple but it sure is fun noodling around with effects. Finally picked up a Les Paul last year more of a strat tele guy but that Gibson sure screams.
Gibson guy I do like a Stratocaster though
Tele is much better for county. I always liked the way Roy Buchanan made his scream
More of a blues man here
Paps
Rock guy here. Country really isn’t my thing though there are some great players out there. It’s a great opportunity for me so I took it. He has some big shows lined up this year including Country fest in Wisconsin. Three days and 50,000 people. Can’t wait for that one. Never played in front of that many people before.
Damnit. Apologies I’m having a terrible day.
The voice chain =
Mic → EHX Freeze Sound Retainer → Mid-Fi Electronics Glitch Computer - > Whammy 4 → aby cable into mixer (for stereo mapping).
The L-F Glitch computer does some serious magic to the tone:
End result sounds like mid 90’s Ministry meets Skinny Puppy.
When that noize maker isn’t ON the freeze pedal + whammy 4 combo allows for throat singing and om chants to become 2 tone and playable as notes by toggling the detune knob or rocking the pedal.
It might not be a Dio tribute band, but Dude, you are in a band and play guitar. That’s like a 90% guaranteed success rate for being COOL MAN!! Plus you grow dank.
The collection of beauties that my Dad has left to me and I love them all but been trying to get some practice in with the 12 string but I have only been playing for 2 years and he had a echo plex (tape), cry baby, Wawa and a voice box still have a musicman amp(made by Leo fender back in the 70s and I don’t have it out but also an aged white (color of Hendrix’s) 1967 strat and the one in the picture is the 60th anniversary of fender not the 60th anniversary for the stratocaster but I just got so many questions about it but…
and @Kavman sorry for rambling and going off topic and glad to see that they’re doing great hope you are having a great Holiday SeasonYour dad left you some very nice gear, which says a lot about him.
That sounds pretty interesting. I may have to try it sometime
That’s some collection. I am a total gear head. But I have made my fair share of money off the equipment so I don’t feel bad about it.
How did those little f13s do?
I may have found ya a little shiska present .
@Josh_Blue the f13’s are doing good. They are a few weeks behind everything else but there will be enough beans to have some fun with. I will post a picture tomorrow when I go out and do chores. Shishka say what.
I took a buddy to go see Roy Buchanan many moons ago. He’d never heard of him. We’re at the Horsheshoe and Roy walks on stage…plaid pants, tweed jacket and the flat cap-newsboy type hat that he wore. My buddy turns to me and says “seriously?”.
Roy then proceeds to blow his mind. My buddy brings this up to this day.
He was such a rock ‘n’ roll treasure very talented The master of the telecaster . the last time so I saw him preform he opened for Rick Derringer, main act was Jeff Beck.
When it came time for an encore Beck called out Derringer and then called out Roy. When Roy Buchanan walked on stage, Jeff Beck and Rick Derringer bowed as he blew them away with some stellar classical Roy riffs
And considering how good Roy was during the opening act I have no idea how those two could go on stage and felt that they could out perform him
Beck and him were friends…Roy even had a song “My Friend Jeff”. Beck dedicated "Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers’ off Blow by Blow to Roy Buchanan.
Think I’ve seen Jeff Beck 6 or 7 times. Once with SRV and Jeff Healey. Once with Clapton. Great shows every single time. My all time favorite guitar player.
Saw Derringer back Aerosmith once.
