(COMPLETED)SnowHigh Pablo's Gold (purple) x Vietnamese Purple

Sorry for flooding the thread again, just another Pablo’s Girl update :black_heart:.
Really beautiful plant. Smells pungent, kind of citrusy, with some floral tones and a hint of that green stink beetle (Nezara viridula). The photos don’t show it well, but the flowers have these super delicate shades of red and purple throughout the inflorescence, not the whole bud, just subtle streaks. It’s a really pretty pattern. Huge plants too, at least 1.3m tall in just 1.7L pots. Thanks for all the work you put in the seed run brother! :space_invader: :heart_hands:

You are most welcome.
Those are beautiful plants, good work!
I hope to complete a run of the F2 and back-cross to my saved F1 male.
If successful, I will post in this thread.
Thanks for sharing your photos, very happy to know the seeds are in good hands.

These BXs sound like they’ll be fire, really hope the run goes smoothly, brother! I’m hyped for it. I liked that plant a lot, she has a really nice bud structure and is much easier to run indoors compared to some of the more sativa-leaning stuff I’ve grown.

With all due respect to snowhigh and you haha, I made some F2s from her, and also used her in a few hybrids. They’re all in my grow journal if you ever wanna check it out, I haven’t harvested yet, but today I took a side nug from the Tuna Breath, and the seeds are looking really healthy so far.

  • Tuna Breath × Pablo’s Gold
  • Palestine Princess × Pablo’s Gold
  • Malana Banana × Pablo’s Gold
  • Pablo’s Gold × Pablo’s Gold
  • [Everything] × Pablo’s Gold (mixed lower bud pollination)

Really appreciate your work thank you :space_invader:
If any of those caught your interest, feel free to hit me up in DMs once they’re fully ready.

Nice work man those have a great classic appearance…I just popped a few Acapulco gold x purple gold mix and would love some results similar to that. What kind of medium and light?

Thanks a lot, brother! <3 :space_invader: :heart_hands:

For the medium, I use the classic inert mix 50% perlite and 50% peat. I actually think coco would work better for my method, and most people I know use it. But here in Brazil, there aren’t many high-quality coco brands, and most need buffering. I’m not lazy, but sometimes I am lol  so I just stick with a good ready-to-use peat/perlite mix, which I’ve always used. But they tend to become hydrophobic at some point if I overdo the dry back and take too long to water again, so I fix that with a soak irrigation.

As for nutrients, I always use classic mineral recipes. They’re cheap, reliable, and work great. I’ve tested a few over the years and many have given solid results. In this current run, I’m testing one my friend Fpunk recommended on Instagram just making a few tweaks and loosely following a basic crop steering approach: adjusting ppm, watering frequency, and pH depending on the stage. So far, im liking how it’s going.

Here’s the formula I’m using:

Vegetative Stage
1.20 g Calcium Nitrate
0.75 g Magnesium Sulfate
0.30 g Potassium Sulfate
0.25 g Monopotassium Phosphate (MKP)
0.05 g Micronutrients

Early flowering:
0.80 g Calcium Nitrate
0.70 g Magnesium Sulfate
0.65 g Potassium Sulfate
0.25 g MKP
0.05 g Micronutrients

Full Flowering – Bud Boost
1.00 g Calcium Nitrate
0.80 g Magnesium Sulfate
0.70 g Potassium Sulfate
0.30 g MKP
0.05 g Micronutrients

My light is a 650W LM301H from aliexpress lol(YXO brand)90 x 90 cm light bar, within a 1.50 x 1.50 meter grow tent. Funny enough, now, during late flowering, I kind that overcrowded the tent a bit and put these plants in the last row, where they only catch some light from the last light bar but they’re doing great!

Your project looks awesome, man! Can’t wait to follow along!

Is this ratio based off a per gallon or 5 gal mix?

per liter brother :space_invader:

Ok, quite interesting. I was always under the impression of equatorial leaners preferred running lite nutrient feed. Thanks for the ratio. I live within 20 minutes of 1 of the largest nutrient manufacturing facilities in North America so theres a large abundance of these nutrients available for me to grab.

Working for a railway also has its benefits as I can grab the stuff that falls out of railcars as we move around. Sulfur, cal nitrate is all free for me

First, trains are awesome! :space_invader:
And second, to be fair, they had a slight nutrient burn early onhaha , which I luckily corrected quickly, and they’ve been happy since. I mostly guide myself by the PPM for the right stage, using those numbers as a baseline. But if needed, I adjust the substrate’s PPM by watering with a more concentrated solution or with more runoff to either raise or lower it, depending on the plant’s phase. Right now, from mid to late flowering, I’m watering with plenty of runoff to give a much smaller input and bring down the substrate’s PPM significantly. Actually, I feel like I lowered it too much too fastlol because their leaves yellowed pretty quickly, haha. Living and learning

As promised, a picture of the 9 pablo gold x PV F2 I will be pollinating with some Pablo F1 pollen from the original run. Four weeks old, 11/13 from sprout. The mess in the back is my Blue Dream F2 and some snowhigh AG purple stem bx which will also get hit with the Pablo F1 pollen. Just for shits and giggles. Mostly giggles I hope.
