i like large grows but usually stuck to medium size grows between 2 metres wide and thrtee metres wide of flower room, and a few setups for vegging and others for clones…
THIS TOPIC IS FOR SUPER STEALTH PC TOWER GROWS and similar stealthy grows.
now that computer towers often have bright led’s shining out of all the air holes you dont really have to light proof your micro grow box. just 2 40 watt or 2 x 50 watt cobs on top.
a thin medium such as rockwool slabs, i just use a layer of perlite.
with a decent sized pc tower you can get decenbt yeilds not only that but be growing in a pc tower or a few of them scattered around the place, no body suspects shit with a bit of light shining out the air holes.
you could even grow like this in a unversity dorm maybe…
anyway any one done this? please share stories…i might show a few designs if anyones keen… 2 ounces is minally expected from one harvest…pretty small but ok for such a stealth setup.
its still illegal here for home grown, but we get it from soemwhere maybe canada, im not sure…anyway all the photos shown count…

i have to rent and get rental insapections every 3 to 6 months…6 months is fine but 3 months, a few computer towers would be easy to dissasemble compared to large tents…im not in it for money myself anyway…
just like to grow my faves…ive tried hundreds of seeds, now i just stick with chemdog 4 as the buds are so tight small and dense, weighting heavy if i have 25 buds inside a small screen, majority of holes have a 5 gram bud in them …then that is a pretty decent yeild from 80 or 100 watts in a small area…
plus, ive never seen more larger bulbous trichomes than i have seen on chemdoawg 4…might need bigger silk screen to dry sift the moster bulbs…
with hps buds seemed a lot bigger but fluffier…id rather chemdogs super dense buds…i only grow for fun and to hook up some friendss with pain rleief…really these days…
Dude I built one of these in like 8th grade to grow tomatoes in hahaha. My mom swore up and down I was trying to grow weed in it but I never got any seeds lol. Thank you so much for reminding me of these. I think I will build one to put in the garage just for the fun of it
Yeah man I remember ab 10 years ago talking to a guy on another forum about space buckets and using CFLs…back then was using them quite a bit with the combination of 2700k and 6500k. You can place the bulbs like a couple of inches away and wouldn’t fry the plant but these days there are plenty of smaller LEDs to fit snuggly in there
That’s funny man I was just typing a response mentioning CFL and noticed you mentioned it. The old incandescence were total crap and the newer models using LED technology made a big difference. It’s been a while but would like to do another run with just 6500k for veg and 2700k flower… I let my brother borrow them using it a little helicopter type bulb splitter setup.
There was a guy here briefly a couple years ago that basically built a giant space bucket.
He had LED strips mounted vertically around a central column and I think secondary lighting as well. It was a wild setup…
I’ve always liked stealth grows, I’m glad you started this thread. I’ve never had to do a stealth grow, but I like coming up with ideas for them.
I haven’t rented in a long time, but when we did the thing that worked for me was to tell them we had a dog (we didn’t at the time). We had to pay an extra $25 a month, but whenever we had an inspection or pest control come out we just put a sign on the grow room door saying the dog was in there. It worked for us in more than one place
