Cookie Factory 🍪

So after growing a number of strains for the past 15 months or so, I ultimately decided to go with the 2 strains that I most enjoy: Mendo Lights and Girl Scout Cookies Extreme. The ML is a beautiful, productive and potent plant, but I’m keeping it around so I can cross her with something more powerful and tasty. However, the GSCE is ready for prime time, and she is the plant that I’ve filled my room with.

MY COOKIE FACTORY

All but 3 of these plants are GSCE in various stages of 12/12.

The plants that you can easily see in the pics above are all grown in soil. The plants on the far side of the room are my Greenleaf Nutrients 2 Part hydro project. This is what those 10 plants, all GSCE, looked like on the day they were put into 12/12:

And here they are 2 weeks into 12/12

They’re currently sitting in 2 gallon buckets, but I’ll be switching to 3.5 gallon buckets tomorrow.

GSCE takes right at 69 days to finish when grown in soil. I’m guessing they’ll finish a bit quicker in the buckets.

So here’s another GSCE, this one is 3 weeks into 12/12:

I have 5 at this stage  . Although I trimmed off the lower growth prior to 12/12, I might clean up the bottoms again in the next few days - but maybe not. The buds that these plants produce are extremely dense and beautiful if allowed to finish. As I’ve done before, I might just harvest the top 3/4 of the plant and let the bottoms go a bit longer before trimming them.

And here’s the biggest cookie in the factory. It’s 60 days into 12/12, so it has about 1 1/2 weeks to go. As usual, these last days are the best days for fattening up. I have 3 at this stage:

And here’s a GSCE that I’m growing in 1 gallon fabric bags and feeding with the Greenleaf Nutrients 2 Part program. They’re about 50 days into 12/12, but look like they might finish up a bit quicker than the typical 69. I’ll keep an eye on the trichomes to know for sure. I have 5 of these:

BTW - the reason that last one looks the same size (height) as the others is because I have them sitting on upside down 5 gallon grow pots.

Off the ‘Cookie Factory’ topic, but rounding out my room are the Mendo Lights I mentioned. I have 3 of them - here they are:

It’s hard to tell due to the red glow of the HPS, but Mendo Lights is a very purple plant. And as you can see, they’re flopping over because they’re almost ready to trim.

Everything you see is being grown under (2) 600W HPS on light movers. If you weren’t keeping count, there are 23 Girl Scout Cookies Extreme and 3 Mendo Lights. When finished, these plants will make at least 53 ounces. It’ll likely be quite a bit more, depending on how my Greenleaf Nutrients 2 Part bucket project goes.

Here’s what GSCE looks like when she’s dried and cured:

lol - thanks @Indoornesian. Another great thing about these GSCE is that they don’t have an overpowering aroma while in 12/12, but the smell when trimming them, and then especially after curing them, is intoxicating!

This thread is giving me a taste for some cookies. I don’t believe I’ve grown it out before. I do have maybe 3 types of cookies seeds, one is thin mint cookies.
I can’t do a whole factory, but I’m considering a couple.
I was under the impression that they didn’t yield much. After seeing your big gal , I’m becoming a cookie monster!

@Indoornesian, I’ve seen others say the same thing. In fact, the first plant I grew (which is the “mother” of all these clones) produced about 75 grams. It was in veg for as long as other plants that produced twice as much. But it was clearly an outstanding quality, so I stuck with it and tweaked the feeding program. Within the next few grows, I started to get a reliable 5 oz’s from each plant that was in veg for about 30 days.

Definitely plant some of your Cookie seeds and see what you get. If you end up with an impressive male, perhaps we can do a seed run for overgrow!

Hey bro! I’m growing GSCE as my first strain. Only in the middle of veg but they’re looking okay so far. Any tips you could lend as far as feeding strengths and maximizing yield with this particular strain? Yours look amazing bro! Love the content.

Hello @TheSeedMan, and welcome to overgrow. So GSCE is your first strain and you’re already “The Seed Man”! How did that happen?

As for tips on growing GSCE, unless you’re using my soil mix and my nutrients, my tips won’t matter. For the record, I’m 100% organic and I use Earth Juice nutrients, with the exception of Botanicare’s CalMag Plus and a big dose of Fox Farm Big Bloom when I first put them into 12/12.

In my opinion, unless you are using Earth Juice products in an organic soil mix, you’ll get a lot more valuable information on growing your GSCE from people who are using the same nutes and grow medium you’re using.

Best of luck to you - and start a grow diary so you’ll have a better chance of getting quality advice from fellow growers!

Cookie Factory Update:

So I’ve been trying out the new Greenleaf Nutrients 2 part formula. As a reminder, this is what 10 GSCE looked like on DAY 1 of 12/12:

On DAY 14 of 12/12

And TODAY: Day 53 of 12/12

Please forgive me for the ugly support systems I created in an emergency. I honestly didn’t think they were going to take off like they did, but the last 2 weeks have been very productive. I’ll post some better close up a bit later when I have a bit more time…
