Copa Genetics

might have to pick up some of that project 25 myself, i hit up Copa on IG yesterday just to chat and they were telling me about that one, finished like mid september! sounds like a killer outdoor variety for this area

Is Copa a girl? Team of girls? Every IG post Copa makes has hashtags like #Girlsthatgrow or #womenofweed. But I see everyone referring to Copa as a dude/he/him. Anyone have any clarity?

not sure, just edited that last post to be a little more gender neutral, gotta get better about that

Haha. Don’t feel bad, everyone does it. I just figured since this thread is new and Copa specific, then it would be a good question to have just to get the story straight.

i grew out project 25 last year and made some f2 of a few phenos. One was done in the end of august. When i mentioned it, even copa was suprised. The phenos all were very “fast and pink”, but the others were more leggy than the really squat minimal branching and finished in august pheno. Some really nice smelling floral and hashy plants, not huge yielders (for me at least) but thats common with very early phenos

how were the effects? they mentioned the possibility of getting a racy sativa like pheno in the mix, but said that it would be the outlier for sure, that its usually referred to as the “daywrecker”.

Good people for sure. Just hit them up on IG inquiring on the TT. Wasn’t but 5 minutes I got a response.

Added an upcoming release to the top post after seeing references on his IG to it being in final testing, had to look up Meigs Gold. Apparently it’s a Ohio heirloom named after Meigs County and the Acapulco Gold in the mix:

Skunk #2 being the supposed RKS line from Sacred Seeds, with the #1 being the sweet skunk we see more now (had to look that up too)

And a competing, quite detailed origin story:

Can’t blame you! I saw on IG that P25 V2 is in the works, but who knows how long it’ll be before we see that or whether it’ll be the same as the Dad in V1

@LegsMahoney It was lol! I’m N of the 45th. Myself and a couple friends really need some genetics that will finish early. I picked up the last 5 packs from Shoe. And yes, they were $35 a pack with Ancient OG freebies. Can’t go wrong with that!!

@Dirt_Wizard That’s really good to know! I will definitely be doing some breeding with the ones I have. If they release the V2 anytime soon I might pick up a pack of those as well.

good on ya! thats a killer price and a screaming deal with that AOG freebie. im just under the 45th myself at like 44.9something so my mind went to the same place with something that would finish early. ill probably cop from DCSE or something, but if you decided you got more than you need and wanna trade you just let me know

I’m gonna hang on to mine, but like I said, I plan on doing some breeding with them. F2’s for sure, and then I might have to cross it with the NL5 I have. Gonna be a ways out there, but I have no problem kickin ya down some if I make seeds. :v:
