If Joe’s video was so informative why delete it?
Antibiotics are for bacterial infections.
Antivirals are for viral infections and are required to Fight the Coronavirus.
So Charlie Sheen and other AIDS patients will be okay but the rest of us will most likely get it and most will be fine but why chance it if you don’t have to.
@Daytripr69 I immediately told you that video was crap. That’s why I deleted it
While you make bogus claims like “there is no treatment for the flu” and can’t man up to your error. We are very different people.
You are angry like I’m the one that makes the numbers. These are mathematical facts that you can’t ignore
That’s because there is no cure all for the flu. Have you ever taken any of those meds on the list you posted? I’m guessing not our you would know that they don’t do shit for you. You know as well as anyone else this is being blown out of proportion just like sars, the swine flu and the last half dozen it’s gonna kill us all bugs
@Daytripr69 Going forward I will be responding to you with charts and graphs.
You’re a fool just like the rest of the Doomsday idiots freaking out over this. How did you react to h1n1, the bird flu, Ebola and the rest of the bugs that got hyped up like this that turned out to be nothing?
This has been discussed multiple times but yet the “just the flu” folk are seemingly unable forecast anything beyond 24 hours.
As with normalcy bias, it’s difficult to comprehend the reason for concern while a whole lot of other people do. Many of the folk that have made their concerns public are infectious disease experts, doctors, and are on the front-line of care.
- There is NO herd immunity whereas most “flu” strains have a herd immunity.
- R0 for this virus is significantly greater than the seasonal flu.
- Mortality is significantly greater for this virus.
The “just the flu folk” can continue along their merry way, calling people sheep, fear mongers, or whatever, all the while ignoring the warning signs, and telling people self-centered things like “this shit isn’t bad for most”.
Oh it’s not bad, except of course, for those who lose their lives, a family member, or encounter lingering health problems.
I’ll take that bet. What are we talking about as a reference media hyped shit ? SARs, MERs, Ebola?
May be time to share some Corona in the shark tank
Getting close to that.
I know right.
I saw a funny meme that was like “I don’t know how I could have possibly contracted corona virus. I bought over 400 rolls of toilet paper”.
People are going nuts over it and industries are feeling it. I can get a flight out to visit my mom in Texas from SoCal for like 130 bucks right now. Round trip.
In Portland OR the virus is spreading in the community, and my doctors are taking it very seriously.
I have a compromised immune system and have just been ordered by my primary care doctor to stay in my home because of community transmission of the virus. They said the only exception is emergency medical treatment. I had scheduled an appointment for tuesday, that morning they called and requested me not to enter the clinic, and to stay in my home.
You may not trust the news outlets you use, but if you have any sense you should trust your doctor.
equally, where in the heck did you get the idea that you should not be concerned about the flu?
I have a genetic muscle condition which only effected me slightly until I was 22 and got a bad flu virus, which caused systemic inflammation and permanently compromised my immune system.
If this is your attitude, I’m concerned that you may be putting your loved ones at risk, particularly if you have elderly family members.
“The World Health Organization is now calling the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic and calling for urgent and aggressive action around the world.” Seems a little late and a tad racist you fear mongering WHO.
@Daytripr69 The Swine flu infected an estimated 700 to 1.4 billion people and had a fraction of the mortality rate of the Coronavirus resulting in fewer deaths.

People can choose their own level of concern, but I think it’s always good to consider the information available and draw your own conclusions.
Human history is rife with epidemics that have been far worse than this one will be. If modern medicine offers no solutions to COVID-19, then it is no different than any other epidemic in history.
So I have to wonder, given the statistics what would lead a person not to be concerned? Just because a 100 year flood hasn’t happened in 80 years doesn’t mean anything. I see this no differently.
That, and I’ve been in a 500 year flood. Infrequent things still happen, infrequently. To me, the data says this might be one of them.
So much for the “feds to the rescue”.
I remember James Kunstler saying that in a real emergency the govt wouldn’t be able to answer the phones.
I think the US Midwest has seen 3 of them last 30 yrs.
Dont worry, I get it. My wife has immune system issues too. Maybe Im just hoping itll go away.
