Coronavirus Facts and Fiction - January - May 2020 [Closed]

Yeah technically because I have some sort of cold or flu I am self isolating. Well since my kids and wife had it first with same symptoms as me we are basically just staying in the house until 2 weeks after symptoms.

LOL…That reminded me of when I was a kid and we had moles in the yard. My solution was to pour gasoline down the holes and light a match! Drove them bastards straight to hell…but my but was sore for days after my dad got thru with me! LMAO

BTW…I found out the hard way during a summer grow, that ants actually farm aphids! Disaster in the making but the vinegar and cinnamon actually worked for me. I can’t really nuke anything since I have three dogs!
Good luck and kill every one of those things!

Ten years behind you, had to stay working for the medical, burning my vacation but I’ll probably call it a career after that’s gone.
Too bad there’s no one on the job to take my paperwork!

At the bugout ranch, waiting for family.
Now here’s the dilemma, once they’re here and safe should I do another run back to the city for my plants ?
And other supplies?
They probably have water for a week.

6hr ride one way,

Man I’m afraid of cash right now. I was considering pulling some out of bank but I think that ship sailed. I dont want it anymore. Before videos from china were cut off they were washing it, hitting it with uvc light. Whatever it took

Get better my friend.

The main symptoms on Covid seems to be a peaking fever, a non-productive cough, fatigue. Not too much different from Influenza-a and Influenza-b, unfortunately. If you have a fever that goes away (or one that lasts more than a couple of days), then comes back a couple of days later, call your primary care / nurse support line please. Or, if things get progressively worse…

Doing our best to isolate and digging into our stash.

Yeah I’ve called my local health authority. I am following their advice. I by no means think I have it. I watched whatever I have rip through my family over last 3 to 4 weeks. 5 year old boy started it. His ended with a little trucker bum for a few days. Now it’s my turn.

“H2O2 in a 3 percent concentration inactivated all the viruses under study within 1–30 min. Coronavirus and influenza viruses were found to be most sensitive.”

I don’t have a UVC lamp but hydrogen peroxide is gonna have to do the trick.
Haven’t seen this mentioned elsewhere…

Hydrogen Peroxide and vinegar make peracetic acid (disinfectant). I load up a spray bottle of each when I clean my tent. It is supposed to be really effective.

“Does anyone know how much prior notice the country’s that are in full lock down were given before being quarantined?”

That is the million dollar question!

Look no further, once it gets one of them.

“by Saturday, it had infected the leader of one of the two parties in the governing coalition.”

I think you’ll get maybe 4-6 hrs max. maybe none.
But with how effed up the news agencies are …gonna be a guess until you see the blockade.

They were burning cash too! I THINK that you could take the cash from a drive thru teller wearing your trusty nitrile gloves…haha…bring it home in a paper sack, and hit it with UVC ( I had a bulb for PM already). I also THINK that while wearing gloves, you could spread it out and spray the crap out of with some 99.9% bacteria (visus? ) killer. PIA< but it could save your butt in a oinch!
best wishes!!!

Mean time; it happened here today…Arghhhh… it’s happening.

That’ll discourage them, not eliminate the colony. Check out domyown.com, access to professional pesticides and equipment for dirt cheap. Anyone can do it, it’s easy and much cheaper and more effective than calling a professional.

All sorts of options for ants. Ants are fairly easy. Colony behavior and such. Spray pesticides are less effective but can be used in conjunction with baits.
