Could use some advice

What’s going on everyone. I’m a first time grower new to the site. Wondering if I could get some advice. I measured my runoff and got an e.c. of 5.0 my ppm was 3800 and ph 6.4. I have no clue what’s going on. Here’s all my variables 1. Outdoor grow
Ro water
white widow fem seed ilgm
It’s fem photo
Plant is 8 weeks from germination
soil is 50% happy frog 20%coco 10%ocean 10%hydroton
Black 7gal fabric pots
Ph and tds of source water is 0
I’m feeding with ff trio plus calmg recharge i feed half of recommended dosage. Ph at 6.3ish and ppm around 800 at this stage.
Temps in the day have been in the 90’s and upper 70’s at night.
Thanks for any help .
Peace

Okay so in my opinion they don’t look bad at all new growth closest to the middle is usually more yellow could be early potass deff

I would flush them with RO water until you significantly lower the EC runoff … beer3|nullxnull

@Rabeats2093 thanks I’ve noticed some of the lower leaves yellowing also.

@George I’ve flushed once now EC came down to 4.0 plan on another flush tonight plain RO water.

Yeah then I would go with your ppm reading and start there

I’m no expert use my advice along with others to formulate a plan and put it in action !

Do you water to runoff when you water? Plants look good for such high numbers. Weird to have such high numbers at 8 weeks me thinks? You sure your gadget is working properly?

Plants look good…not toxic.

@Eagles009 I have watered to runoff though out 10tp 20%. Last week was the first time I’ve measured it. Cleaned and recalibrated it’s a bluelab not sure witch model.

I wouldn’t do anything drastic. Are you concerned with something about the plant or just the numbers themselves?

@Eagles009 I’m more concerned about the numbers than the plant. I thinks it’s overall healthy feel she’s a slow grower.

Agree, I saw no burnt tips or nutrient burn, maybe there are just accumulated salts … icon_e_confused|nullxnull

You could look to move to 75% or 100% recommended feed per schedule. Should be big enough. You could always back down again if she fusses. Some plants to grow slower than others. Tough to figure that without peers for comparison though I wager.

I found runoff numbers in soil to be rather useless, as in they would suggest soil conditions that were not represented in the plant. I tired of that and trashed the thing. I then played the read the plant and adjust dosage accordingly method with dyna gro for awhile.

I’ve recently gone to coco and jacks 321. Always feed. Always same strength. I much like being done with the guessing game.

I’ve measured my runoff ppms from a couple different all organic grows the ppms can get to 3k and it’s not a problem for the plants.

I wouldn’t worry about runoff ppms if your plant looks happy

Plant looks great To me!

You have a great understanding of the theory!

Continue applying it as you are and Include your observations !

Great job!

Now I’m getting the black leaf tips and yellowing of the lower fan leaves. Have flushed twice now E.C. came down to 3.5. The PH is creeping Down towards 5.7

Please don’t open a second thread with the same issue, could have a nutrient lock, keep flushing until you get normal numbers, don’t worry about the old leaves and concentrate on new growth … :sunglasses:
