Currently finishing up this absolute unit Afghaan 90 from TRSC.
Once this is harvested I’m gonna start my first ever breeding project.
Will also share more details about my set-up as well as some weed fermentation, dry sift and maybe even some alcohol concoctions.

I just made some dry sift with bubble bags a few days ago. To much shaking for my taste but the result was great. I’m doing water hash in Mason jars today. I’ll be looking out for your dry sift post, later.

I have the beat and sift thing, it has a metal bowl, a mesh screen you stretch over it and then a cover you stick over that and an elastic band to hold it tight over the material. I beat it with drum sticks until resin stops falling (i check and remove the resin periodically). I use a paint brush to brush the resin into a bowl or something then press it using a manual hash press. I’m experimenting with wrapping it in a turkey bag, vac sealing and heating with a dehydrator to homogenise the material. Did it at 40c with a dehydrator last time and not sure if it made a difference but gonna try 50c next time.
I am also fermenting some cannabis that I plan to sift once it’s aged for 3 months. I’ve heard cobbed weed makes amazing dry sift.

I’ve been saving stems in a whiskey bottle for a few years now. Last night I decarbed the whole bottle in the oven then filled the bottle with some moonshine i made. Gonna let it soak for a few weeks now.

This Afghan is now driving me insane!!
She was supposed to be an 8-10 weeker
We are now in week 14 and STILL NOT DONE!!
Any tips for speeding up maturation??

New arrival!
9 hole lid for the oxypot to replace the 5 hole one curently.
Need to make a few mods to this, think im gonna cut 2 holes, 1 in and 1 out and will tape the bamboo frame from the old lid onto this one.
This allows me to easily run more plants, gonna sow 8 malawi golds once my Afghan lady is done which should be in a few days!

Oxypot needs cleaning with some citric acid. Also gonna boil the airstones in critric acid to clean out all the limescale and shite.
Gonna remove the bamboo frame from this lid and attach it to the 9 hole lid.

665 grams of 1 plant!! Record for me.
Smoke is very smooth, sweet and gassy.
High is warm and relaxing, starts in the body and moves up, definitely a creeper.
Got a lot of trim and larfy lower buds to sift!

What is your citric acid to water ratio for soaking the reservoir?

I think this time i used about 6 tablespoons but im not sure the exact ratio, you dont need too much citric acide for it ti be effective
