Im a big fan of the girl scout cookies lineage of plants. Theye usually colorful, dense, and require minimal trimming. The downside of cookies crosses is that theyre not being known as high yielders and many suffer from Cardboard Terps Syndrome (CTS) as they trade bag appeal for terps.
Anyone else love cookies? whats your latest favorite flavor?
mine has been the grandiguava cut from pcg. not a great yielder but its fairly cheap and the terps are amazing

I have heard of something they are calling berners cookes that they’ve made. Supposedly two cookie hybrids put together and supposed to be bigger yielding. I know a few people were saying platinum cookies was better than straight cookies too, but ive not tried it.
It isn’t a GSC strain but I have a bottle of seeds called Rhino’s flapjacks that’s a Pancakes x Pancakes cross that’s supposed to be pretty killer
This was my plan for it originally but that’s very far away for me considering I just had a failure of a first grow lmao
I’ve smoked Gary Payton and can confirm that it is indeed fire. Emerald green with flecks of purple with firey orange pistols. Smelled of musty citrus and pine. So far this is the second cookie cut that I liked, the first being GSC forum cut.
@Habitt the legit GP cut is pretty easy to acquire if youre looking for her. She is evidently quite forgiving too. definitely worth seeking out if youre into compact less stretchy cookies cuts. my dispensary had drop of GP clones this summer but they were gone before i could snatch one up. i had to settle for one of her daughters instead (Super Sonic - Gary Payton x Project 4516). supposed to have a look and terp profile with even less stretch. she smells “fresh” @ week 3 so its a bit early to gauge if she looks like her momma.
Have you tried ogkb sardinebags, and what do you think of it compared to the cookies cut they been using ?

i havnt grown the legit ogkb cut but i have grown a few of her daughters that i grew from seed and liked em. My favorite of those was cement shoes s1 from cult classic seeds. not sure where i would be even able to source a legit ogkb cut, seems closely held by just a few (kinda like mac1). the daughters were super gassy couch lock type high. im an old man now so i grow more of the less intense more terpy gear these days.
Maybe you meant @TopShelfTrees1 ? He seems pretty knowledgeable on the modern scene. I don’t follow anything cookies, you don’t want my opinion 
She’s definitely lacking on the terp profile but the effect is top notch. I’d hit her with some pollen from a known terp bomb to help her along.
Tried some hash rosin of the forum cut was pretty good had real nice taste I was on l when I tried it so can’t say exactly how good the high was had some good gmo had some bad gmo but when done right with the legit cut it’s some good weed Tropicana cookies is decent if you are into orange terps it’s like you just poured a glass of fresh squeezed oj decent mellow high have tried lots of mediocre cookies crosses from dispos that my friends get as samples from time to time
Maybe a cross between Tropicana Cookies and GP to push towards more orange citrus than lemon. I think lemon is too over done in the cannabis space and would like to see other citrus terps get the love they deserve.
ya im pretty hopeful about supersonic. back when pcg was still active on instagram i asked them about the cut and their response was that its the GP look (bright green with orange hairs) with a better terp profile coming from the 4516. time will tell. ive got a couple cuts that i grow consistently that look amazing in the bag for me to decide to keep something new its going to need to be more about the terps than the look.

As for cookies crosses I plan on trying bodhis field trip(gsc fourm cut x sunshine daydream) I also got some f2 of more cowbell (gsc fourm x 88g13hp) that sounds like it might be decent

Well, i was dreaming on the expertise of @HolyAngel , but @Jetdro enjoy too much the Blue Dream these last times ^^ If any : not a fan but i’m interested by any feedback on the Thin Mint cut considering the whole cookies/GSC galaxy, as reference for comparison. Just curious (and because it’s the only one i know).

I was pretty sure the Thin Mint Cookies IS the original cookies cut. The first one. I’ve also heard it’s worth breeding with. Like it’s actually a decent plant that doesn’t hate the light and whatnot. That’s also why it’s not in many things. It’s hoarded.
I believe the forum cut is a blander, better yielding, S1 of the Thin Mint. This one hates the light and nutes, grows best in the corner of a tent.

All i can say is that it’s making fire fems as receiver. Not a fan personally, and generally fanboys are throwing stones at my face when i say that in considering the inherent constraint of this cut … i just prefer a Black Domina for the same deal. The problematic being that it’s rare to find someone that have grown the both, so generally no one understand why i compare these twos ^^

@Fuel the thin mint cut is a fantastic cut. im not sure if she is the mother of all cookies cuts but she is definitely representative of what youd expect from a cookies cut. on the other hand, if you like blue dream youve gotta try and source the Double Dream cut. its a california staple. seriously though, of all those california blueberry hazy things Double Dream was by far my favorite. Much more compact and managable to grow than the santacruz cut with the same terps that youve grown to love. good daytime functional high. here she is around w7

That’s pretty similar to my thoughts.
My full opinion is:
Cookies was bred solely for the black market where bag appeal and smells sell bags. This just happened to work perfectly with the apple-store-esque dispensary’s too. Some of the lines/crosses from cookies can have a potent come up, enough for you to blow one with the dealer and think you won. Long enough to get home and realize you’ve been had ~30 minutes later. It usually passes along the short-lived high and bland effects to anything it’s crossed to. Granted the offspring will likely be louder and look better than the outcrossing parent, that’s all you’re going to get. The best cookies crosses, don’t look/hit/smoke/taste like cookies, like Wedding Cake for instance, that should tell you something. I legitimately have had better and longer lasting effects from seeded compressed reggie/schwag than any cookies cut or cross that’s been put out there. It honestly saddens me to see the new generation of smokers that have grown up on legal weed do nothing but clamor for this stuff. The old heads are spinning in their graves.
